David Beckham Is Being Called 'Weird And Creepy' After Kissing His 7-Year-Old Daughter On The Lips

Some people — more specifically, Piers Morgan and his co-anchor, Susanna Reid, are offended by David Beckham showing his seven-year-old daughter affection — giving her a quick peck on the lips in a video posted on social media.

David Beckham is being criticized for posting a video on social media of himself giving his seven-year-old daughter a peck on the lips.

While some might see this as a totally appropriate and genuine sign of love between a young child and their parent, others find it "weird" and "creepy".

"Good Morning Britain's" Piers Morgan is among the folks that are not okay with this display of affection between father and daughter.

But this isn't the first time they've dragged the Beckham family...

Piers claimed that the 2018 Beckham Vogue cover shoot made him physically ill.

"The pictures made me vomit. It's like, really? Is there no limit here? Making their kids prance about with water pistols," he said.

"They're constantly ramming them down our throats to prop up ever dwindling Brand Beckham. I just don't buy it."

He then attacked David for trying to appeal against a speeding ticket.

"He won't even pay his speeding fines. He's trying to get off that on a technicality," he revealed.

"We know from his emails he's the last person who should get one [knighthood]."

"I always got on quite well with Victoria Beckham. I've only met David once and got on quite well with him."

"I just find them annoying," he said.

Piers called David "weird" and described David and Victoria Beckham as "total shams".

"I've never bought into the Beckham thing," Piers told DailyMail. "I think it's a total sham.

"One minute they're saying, 'Leave our kids alone', and the next they're trying to turn them into Justin Biebers," he went on. "They are rank hypocrites."

"I've never known any parents to pimp their kids as much as those two do," he continued — bashing the Beckhams.

So evidently, Piers Morgan is not David Beckham's biggest fan.

Last November, David was hit with backlash from trolls after giving his daughter a kiss while they were out ice skating, in an Instagram photo.

Comments flooded in from fans, calling it "wrong" for a father to kiss his daughter on the lips.

But David defended himself, maintaining that this is how he shows affection to all of his children.

"I kiss all my kids on the lips," David explained.

"Brooklyn, maybe not. Brooklyn’s 18, he might find that a little bit strange,’ he said, adding: ‘I’m very affectionate with the kids. It’s how I was brought up and Victoria, and it’s how we are with our children."

Despite last year's backlash, David recently posted another video of himself giving his daughter a kiss on the lips.

"Why would a father kiss his daughter on the lips? Don't get it. Creepy. Weird. Creepy," Piers said on Good Morning Britain. "No one does that. You post that to the world, but why?"

"Weird, weird, weird," Piers repeated.

He explained that a "firm handshake" for sons and a "peck on the cheek" for daughters should be the standard.

But numerous, more open-minded individuals came to David's defense.

This person brought up a solid point.

If you find it perverted for a father to kiss his daughter, then maybe the real pervert is you for thinking of it that way.

Giving your young child a peck on the lips seems pretty harmless to me.

There are obvious boundaries that shouldn't be crossed. But how David shows his daughter affection doesn't seem inappropriate by any means.

In the era of social media, you can't please everybody. There's always going to be someone that disagrees with you. Especially if you're famous.
