Earlier this month the Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their first child.
After keeping us on the edge of our seats, wondering for months what the sex of the baby was going to be, and what he or she would be named, we finally have closure.

It’s been an emotional roller coaster to say the least.
The details are all out on the table, including the baby’s birth certificate — which was surprisingly interesting.
In the early morning on May 6th, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcomed their first child.
For Meghan’s entire pregnancy , the couple kept the details private — like the gender or potential names for the baby.
When Harry finally announced the birth of his son, fans were nearly as overjoyed as he was.
He let the public know in a statement that Meghan had given birth to their “healthy baby boy” and that he was absolutely “over the moon” about it.
Two days after welcoming their son, the happy family posed for the cameras, introducing their adorable latest addition to the public.
But we were all still dying to know what they decided to name him.
Alas, the wait is over. Days after being born, Meghan and Harry finally revealed their son’s name.

We could all breath a sigh of relief — having finally been given all the answers we were looking for.
But there are still some minor details surfacing that you may find to be interesting pieces of the puzzle.
On Friday, the royal baby’s birth certificate was released to the public.
The certificate revealed that Meghan had given birth to Archie at Portland Hospital, a private hospital in Westminster — despite rumors of having a home birth.
While Archie’s certificate isn’t particularly out of the ordinary, the listed occupations of his parents most definitely are.
Believe it or not, Meghan and Harry’s occupation is, well, being royalty.
Apparently, that’s a legitimate job title.
I didn’t see a booth for that at careers day back in seventh grade but ALRIGHTY THEN!
Harry’s occupation is listed as “Prince of the United Kingdom,” while Meghan’s is “Princess of the United Kingdom.”
I know a lot of you are thinking, “wait, Meghan is a princess?!”
On paper she is.

Technically, we’re not supposed to refer to Meghan as “Princess Meghan” because she isn’t a princess by blood — only by marriage .
Impressive nonetheless.
But this doesn’t come as a surprise to the rest of the royal family.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William and Kate, listed their occupations on the birth certificates of their children as “Prince of the United Kingdom” and “Princess of the United Kingdom” as well.
Before having the pleasure of joining the royal family and becoming “Princess of the United Kingdom” on paper, Meghan was an actress on the show “Suits”.
This was one hell of a promotion.
While Prince Harry has always been Prince Harry, he did used to have a more commonly understood occupation.
He served in the British Army for 10 years, did two tours in Afghanistan and achieved the rank of Captain .
In 2011, according to Forbes Magazine, Harry would have earned $50,000 that year.
In 2015 he ended his time in the Armed Forces and began to pursue his royal duties.
You might be surprised to find out that being royalty for a living is actually a lot of work.
According to the official royal family’s website, the family collectively participates in over 2000 official engagements including charity events, state funerals, national festivities or presenting honors.
They also entertain approximately 70,000 guests throughout the year at dinners, lunches, receptions and garden parties at the royal residences.
On top of that, they receive and answer around 10,000 letters .
So, yeah, being royal is a lot more work than almost anybody would bargain for.
Still would take it in a heartbeat, though. Any cute, single royals out there? LMK!
