Police Raid Mansion And Discover Stockpile Of More Than 1,000 Guns

In America, it's not unusual to come across someone who is carrying a gun.

In fact, in many states, this is actually considered totally normal. The country's gun laws are notoriously fairly lax, and being able to own a gun is considered a basic right for Americans. It is, after all, the second ammendment.

That is, people aren't allowed to manufacture or sell guns without a license. Anywhere. But that doesn't necessarily stop them.

On Wednesday, police responded to a tip about someone manufacturing and selling illegal firearms.

Police uncovered a cache of over 1,000 guns inside the home, all ranging from handguns to rifles.

More than 1,000 rounds of ammunition were also uncovered from the home.

The Bel-Air area in which the guns were discovered is a popular spot for tourists.

And no, they don't come looking for Will Smith. But would you blame them if they did?

Most come hoping to catch a glimpse of Jay-Z and Beyoncé's sprawling Bel-Air mansion.

This neighborhood is known for its sprawling multi-million dollar mansions.

The mansion police raided is reportedly a five-bedroom, 8,200-square-foot home valued at more than $7 million.

Not only is the size of the weapon stockpile shocking, but also where they were found.
