We Love The Way Jennifer Lopez And Alex Rodriguez Are Raising Their Kids Together

More families these days are blended, meaning that the parents have children from previous relationships.

As anyone who's in a blended family knows, it's not as easy as The Brady Bunch makes it seem. Co-parenting with your previous partner and your new partner can be a lot of work.

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have opened up about how they handle this situation and we're applauding them for their take on the issue.

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez got engaged back in March 2019 and shared the news with fans through these stunning photos.

This proposal looks like something out of a movie, but I really wouldn't expect less from these two.

While this was clearly a huge development in their relationship, since the beginning, Jennifer and Alex have always taken their children into consideration before any big changes.

Jennifer is the mom to 11-year-old twins, Maximilian and Emme.

Their father is Jennifer's former husband, Marc Anthony. The couple was together from 2004-2014.

Alex also has two daughters from his previous marriage.

Ella and Natasha Rodriquez are Alex's daughters from his marriage to Cynthia Scurtis, which ended in 2008.

Thankfully for the couple, their kids became BFFs instantly, and this blended family loves to spend time together.

" I was so loving to his kids and he was so loving and accepting of mine, and they embraced each other right away," Jennifer said to People.

Jennifer still has an amicable relationship with Marc Anthony and the three of them co-parent and support their children together.

Jennifer has said that she and Marc are, "like best friends," and this approach to their relationship is bound to have a positive effect on their kids.

Marc also congratulated Jennifer and Alex on their engagement and has been super supportive of their relationship.

This is co-parenting done right.

It looks like this family has this whole blended family thing on lock.

They're setting a great example for other blended families and showing us how to co-parent with consideration and respect. Wishing them all the best!
