Fans Are Dragging James Charles To Filth For Making YouTuber Tati Westbrook Cry

James Charles is one of the most popular YouTube beauty gurus in the world. With nearly 17 million subscribers, James has propelled the beauty industry forward by breaking gender barriers and revolutionizing what it means to be a YouTuber.

James has made a lot of friends along the way, including fellow YouTube beauty guru Tati Westbrook.

Tati and James are so close, she trusted him to do her makeup on her wedding day.

Now, Tati owns a brand of beauty vitamins called "Halo Beauty" which are hair, skin and nail enhancing.

One of the brand's top competitors is Sugar Bear Hair, the gummy vitamins I know y'all have seen all over Instagram being pushed by A-LIST celebs like Kylie Jenner.

Why is this relevant? WELL bbys, it's relevant because James totally did his friend Tati so dirty by giving Sugar Bear a huge shutout on his Instagram story a few days ago.

Partnering with a business that is in direct competition with your close friend's company? NOT CUTE!

Shortly after James posted that mess, Tati posted an Instagram story in tears, expressing her sadness about feeling alone in the beauty community.

"I feel really lost and I feel in my community especially like, I feel really lonely."

"And through this whole journey I feel like I have been someone who has been super supportive to my friends... I'm just so upset."

She concluded, "I feel really used. That's the bad part of Hollywood — welcome to show business. Everybody says what they need to say and uses who they need to use to get ahead and I have had about enough."

All signs pointed back to sister James, and people were PISSED.

Twitter

You don't make Tati cry, you just don't.

Jeffree Star even got involved in the shade, tweeting "The truth always tasted better than a lie."

Jeffree and Tati are close friends, and with the timing of this tweet —all signs point to a defense.

In response to all the hate, James took to his Instagram story and posted this:

James explained he didn't think about Sugar Bear Hair being a direct competitor to Tati's brand, and that he wasn't paid for the post.

However, fans were quick to point out that James' original post had #ad on it, so???

I hope for sweet Tati's sake that sister James pulls it together and stops hurting his friend like this!
