We had plenty of reunions, Jon learned of his true lineage, and we got a freaky screaming demon child.

People were quick to share their thoughts on Twitter.

And for the most part, the memes are absolutely fire, and a lot of people seemed to enjoy the episode.

And as we said, the show was full of some pretty awesome reunions.

Not to mention that Bran and Jaime reunion at the end. I can't be the only person who didn't see that coming, right?

Overall, a lot of people felt that the episode was really short.

However, it would be impossible to please everyone, and there were definitely some fans who didn't enjoy the episode.

This fan thought that it felt "off".

Some felt that "nothing" happened the whole episode.

But most people know that there was a lot of set-up happening in the first episode, which is necessary to really allow the rest of the season play out the way it should.
