Alert Whistledown! 'Bridgerton' Has Become Netflix's Biggest Series Ever

I'm here, Your Grace, with the most obvious news story of the year so far. If you can believe it, Bridgerton has become Netflix's most successful show of ALL TIME.

I could have told you this was going to happen based solely on the number of times I have rewatched the series this past month.

If you haven't watched *Bridgerton* yet, please take this as your sign from the universe to do so!

This Shondaland series follows Regency London’s competitive marriage market, and the city's most affluent, and eligible singles.

Now, the beloved show has become Netflix's biggest series EVER!

According to EW the show has hit a record of 82 million households around the world in its first 28-days.

These stats mean 82 million Netflix accounts that chose to watch at least two minutes of *Bridgerton* in that time period.

A Netflix blog post reads: "The show has made the top 10 in every country except Japan — hitting number one in 83 countries including the U.S., U.K., Brazil, France, India, and South Africa."

"Indeed, the success of Bridgerton propelled the books into *The New York Times* bestseller lists for the first time, and 18 years after they were first published."

What an amazing start to 2021!

I'll be eagerly awaiting season 2, Your Grace.
