Over the years, Bob Ross has been known for his iconic painting videos and beloved orange afro.
He's well known to budding artists, but also to insomniacs and nap enthusiasts, who tuned in for the calming (and soporific) effects of his voice.
Now there's a Bob Ross Monopoly game, and we are feeling at one with nature and ready to hop right into an episode of ‘The Joy Of Painting.’
This Bob Ross Monopoly by Hasbro takes on a rare non-competitive nature that inspires players to just kind of go with the flow.
While the buying, selling, and overall monopolizing goals of the game remain the objectives, this particular version is filled with soothing and inspiring Bob Ross quotes with every card drawn.
Even the bankruptcy card has some compassionate options to avoid negativity.
This soothing rendition includes six special sculpted tokens: an owl, squirrel, pine tree, fence, easel, and palette.
It also renames the game's usual houses as cabins while hotels are now covered bridges.
Additionally, Community Chest cards are called "The Joy of Painting," and possibly the cutest update is the game's naming of Chance Cards as "Happy Little Accidents."
We don't need to paint a picture to see that this game is pretty special.
The game is geared for the same number of players as any other Monopoly (two to six) and age range (eight and up), although the laid back nature of this version might be your young one's best intro to this otherwise cutthroat past time. Seriously, we have seen fights break out over Monopoly — but it's doubtful that that would happen with this peaceful version.
Extra points if you and your loved ones watch "The Joy of Painting" while playing the Bob Ross Monopoly. Now that would be true dedication.
