There are many couples in Hollywood that are close to the same age, but there are many more who have rather shocking age differences.
While some of these age gaps are larger than others, there does seem to be a trend in the industry of celebrities dating people who are much older or much young than them.

There are many high-profile celebrity couples with age gaps that you probably don’t know about. Beyoncé and Jay-Z are a power couple with a 12 year age gap.
They met and started dating back in 2001 when Beyoncé was only twenty!
Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble
This couple has an age gap of 25 years as Kris is 64 and Corey is only 39. In fact, Corey and Kim Kardashian are roughly the same age!
These two have been dating since around 2014 after Kris and Caitlyn Jenner split up.
Alec and Hilaria Baldwin
While some age gaps aren’t as problematic, these two are 26 years apart which seems a bit extreme. It also points to a troubling trend in Hollywood of men dating much younger women.
This now married couple started dating in 2011. They are currently 60 and 34 respectively.
Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra
While often in Hollywood the man is older than the woman, this isn’t always the case.
Priyanka Chopra is 38 while Nick Jonas is 28. This fabulous couple definitely turns heads, and most people don’t even realize there is a decade of a difference between them.
Matt Bomer and Simon Halls
Matt Bomer is actually 13 years younger than his publicist and husband Simon Halls.
These two got married in 2011, and they have two sons together. Matt told Entertainment Tonight that the secret to a long-lasting marriage is to go about it “one day at a time.”
Hilarie Burton and Jeffrey Dean Morgan
While they might both be beautiful actors, there is a 16 year age gap between them.
This couple was together for ten years and had two children before getting married in 2019. They live with their family on a farm in upstate New York.
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds
There is an eleven-year age gap between this pair, and while that might not seem large, they met when Lively was only about 24.
However, they seem to make it work as they’ve been married since 2012 and have two daughters.
David Foster and Katharine McPhee
With an age gap of 34 YEARS, these two have the biggest age difference of any of the couples on this list.
This makes McPhee half of Foster’s age. They were fairly secretive about their relationship, but McPhee told ET they are still together in May of this year.
Sarah Paulson and Holland Taylor
It might seem like it’s only heterosexual couples with large age gaps, but this isn’t true at all.
Sarah Paulson is 41 and Holland Taylor is 73, and they started dating in 2015. Paulson told ET, “What I can say absolutely is that I am in love.”
George Clooney and Amal Clooney
George and Amal Clooney are a powerful and gorgeous couple with a 17-year gap in age. They met in 2013.
Despite this, they’ve been married since 2014, and they had twins named Alexander and Ella later that same year and are still going strong.
Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart
These two have been married since 2010, but there is actually a 22 year age gap between them.
According to an interview with Hello! Magzine , Calista feels that , “I keep forgetting that he’s 22 years older than me.” But, there’s no denying that’s a large difference.
Hugh Jackman and Deborra Lee-Furness
These two are another couple who have made it work for a long time as they’ve been together for over 20 years.
Lee-Furness is actually 13 years older than her husband, and they met while on the set of an Australian television show back in 1995.
Dennis Quaid and Laura Savoie
With 39 years between Dennis Quaid and 26-year-old Laura Savoie, it’s hard not to raise an eyebrow at this age gap.
The fact that Quaid was dating a 32-year-old, Santa Auzina before Savoie makes it seem even more disturbing. He seems to prefer much younger women which can be seen as problematic.
Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres
These two have been together since 2004, and they were able to get married when the same-sex marriage ban was lifted in 2008. Thank goodness!
You might not know that Ellen is 15 years older than Portia. Ellen is currently 62 and Portia is 47.
Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger
There is a ten year age gap between these two which isn’t nearly as extreme as some couples on this list.
However, Pratt’s split with Anna Faris made headlines, and people thought it was a bit upsetting that he started dating someone much younger right after.
