Being a sex symbol has got to be a strange thing. Most people, even the most beautiful of the beautiful Hollywood elite, tend to not think that they're attractive (or at least they pretend to, for humility's sake), but when you've been a sex symbol for almost your entire acting career, like Sharon Stone, it's hard not to acknowledge the point.
Sharon Stone Reveals People 'Still Want To See' Her Boobs At Age 62
Sharon Stone has had an expansive career.
Known for her work in Basic Instinct, Casino, Total Recall, Catwoman, Lovelace, Alpha Dog, and loads more, Sharon has been burning up our screens for decades, and she's not one to not acknowledge her position as a sex symbol for most of that.
Sharon has recently opened up about how being a sex symbol isn't as easy as it seems.
“It’s difficult, because everybody expects you to be that all the time,” Sharon told Town And Country. “It was very difficult for Marilyn Monroe. She did movies that really mattered, like Bus Stop, The Misfits, but she still couldn’t get completely out of being that thing. It’s very hard to shake.”
Sharon has been in indie movies as well, adding, “No one even noticed those movies, but it was good for me."
"Even now people say to me, ‘You’d have to really disappear into a character,’ and I’m like, ‘Did you see Lovelace? That was me,'" Sharon said, and then dropped this bombshell: “People still want to see my boobs. I’m 62!"
"It’s like, ‘Really? Grow up!’"
Sharon then apparently threw up her arms and added, "But also, here’s some boobs!’” showing that she's still got an awesome sense of humor.
Sharon is obviously still gorgeous at any age, so it makes sense that her sex symbol status has just aged with her!
