The Rock Reveals His Whole Family Tested Positive For COVID-19: 'A Real Kick In The Gut'

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has announced via his Instagram on Wednesday that he and his entire family have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

Taking to his Instagram, The Rock shared the difficult news on Wednesday night with his nearly 200 MILLION followers.

The actor explained in his 11 minute video that that he and his family contracted the virus two or three weeks ago from some close family friends who don't know how they contracted it.

He explained, "This has been one of the most challenging and difficult things we have ever had to endure as a family, and for me personally as well."

"Testing positive for COVID-19 was much different than overcoming nasty injuries or being evicted or even being broke, which I have been more than a few times."

He clarified that his two daughters, 2-year-old Tianna and 4-year-old Jasmine, had a sore throat for a few days.

Unfortunately, Dwayne and his wife got hit much harder and had a "rough go" for the past few weeks.

"I wish it was only me who tested positive, but it wasn’t, it was my entire family, so this was a real kick in the gut."

He encouraged his followers to be diligent with their health and stay cautious and aware of the real dangers of COVID-19.
