It's no secret that there is MEGA money to be made on Instagram. Insta sponsorships basically made the whole "influencer" culture a thing.
However, sponsored Insta posts are just for your local influencer, big celebrities like the Kardashian/Jenner fam get paid millions to feature a product on their timeline.
And while it may seem harmless to most, comedian Ricky Gervais is having none of it!
Take Kylie posting with these Frozen 2 dolls for example.
But hey, KoKo prolly made more money off this one Insta ad than I'll make in the next 10 years so you do you, boo.
In a video posted on Twitter, Ricky called out the Kardashians for their sponsored posts and explains why he chooses not to do them.
To be fair, are brands like SugarBearHair and Teami reaching out to Ricky? I don't think so!
“I get these offers to do endorsed tweets. And I had heard about it. I know the Kardashian’s get something like 20 grand for sitting on a bench and going, ‘Ooh, I love this new chocolate bar.'"
