Meghan Markle Reportedly Feeling 'Like Herself Again' Since Leaving Royal Family

Look out, world!

There's a new Meghan Markle in town.

Turns out, stepping down from her royal duties and relocating to Calfornia was the best decision she and Prince Harry could have made.

It's been two weeks since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry stepped down from their royal duties.

The couple, who are also the parents to 11-month old Archie, first announced their departure back in January.

They wrote that their decision to "step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent" came after "many months of reflection and internal discussions."

On March 30, they posted their final send-off on their Instagram account.

They also shut down comments entirely, making it impossible for users to write any new ones.

Since then, life has been mighty different for the couple.

It was reported to People that the couple has moved to Los Angeles, Meghan's hometown.

Since they are working on being financially independent from the royal family, Meghan has gone back to her acting roots.

It was reported back in March that she did voiceover work for the Disneynature documentary, Elephants.

The documentary is now streaming on Disney+

She's even reportedly working on another cookbook.

She wrote Together: Our Community Cookbook back in 2018.

Speaking of food, she a relaunch of her lifestyle blog, *The Tig* might be in the works.

The defunct blog had a huge emphasis on food and cooking, as that is one of Meghan's passion.

These changes don't just sound good — they *feel* good, too.

At least, that's what a source close to the couple said told Us Weekly.

“Harry and Meghan were really excited to move to L.A.,” they said.

“The timing is tricky of course, but this is something they’ve been hoping for and seriously planning for several months now.”

Before their move, a separate source even told the mag that the couple had big plans to rebrand themselves following their exit from their royal duties.

“Meghan and Harry are trying to rebrand themselves and are want to make a big media splash, but are stymied by the coronavirus situation,” the source explained.

“They are losing out on potential paid opportunities by having to keep a low profile.”

Whether that's true or not, one thing that we hope is true is this: that Meghan's starting to feel like herself again.

“They’ve been looking forward to [moving], and they’re very content and happy to finally be all settled in,” the first insider said.

“And of course, Meghan feels more at home too and she’s really starting to feel like herself again.”

Harry is also feeling a renewed sense of peace with the big change.

“For Harry, the thing is, he’s always wanted Meghan to be happy, safe, and comfortable,” the source said.

“He will go wherever she goes, and he’s made that clear … It’s the next chapter for him, and a breath of fresh air from his former duties.”

So cute!

The couple even has some upcoming projects in the works together.

Earlier this month, news of their new non-profit, the Archewell Foundation, launched.

“We connected to this concept for the charitable organisation we hoped to build one day, and it became the inspiration for our son’s name,” the couple previously told The Telegraph.

“To do something of meaning, to do something that matters.”

The foundation will focus on offering support groups and keeping its users mentally healthy.

With all these positive changes going on, no wonder Meghan is feeling more like herself!
