Shannen revealed on Tuesday that she has been diagnosed with stage four cancer.

"I’m stage four," Shannen told ABC news anchor Amy Robach.
"My cancer came back."
Now, Shannen's co-star and friend Jason Priestley is breaking his silence about Shannen's terminal illness.

Speaking to People Jason said the news was "heartbreaking."
Jason starred alongside Shannen on the original "Beverly Hills, 90210," playing twins, Brandon and Brenda Walsh.

The two have maintained their friendship throughout the years.
"I reached out to her yesterday when the news broke,” he told the publication at the Monte Carlo Television Festival 60th Anniversary Celebration this past Wednesday.
