Billie Eilish Got Brutally Honest About Her 'Toxic' Relationship With Her Body

Remember the time Billie Eilish said that she wears baggy clothes to avoid being sexualized?

Well, scratch that.

The "Everything I Wanted" singer just revealed the real reason she wears baggy clothes and her answer is so heartbreaking.

At just 17 years old, Billie Eilish has become a household name.

It all started in 2015 when her song "Ocean Eyes" accidentally went viral.

Since then, she's reached some seriously cool heights, like collaborating with some of music's biggest names.

This includes Justin Bieber and Khalid.

Not to mention how she recently revealed that she has Drake's number and texts him.

This is one cool 17-year-old.

Another thing that makes Billie unique from those her age — and from those in Hollywood — is her style.

The singer is practically an icon in baggy chic.

For a while, it was believed that Billie wore baggy clothes to avoid being sexualized.

She even confirmed this assumption in several interviews.

For example, in a Calvin Klein advertisement, she explained why she prefers "the baggier, the better" when it comes to her clothes.

"I never want the world to know everything about me," she said.

“I mean, that’s why I wear big baggy clothes: Nobody can have an opinion, because they haven’t seen what’s underneath, you know?”

This makes sense considering the young singer (or anyone, for that matter) doesn't need any body-shaming.

"Nobody can be like, ‘She’s slim-thick’, ‘She’s not slim-thick’, ‘She’s got a flat [expletive]’, ‘She got a fat [expletive]’. Nobody can say any of that, because they don’t know.”

An incident on Twitter even showed fans what can happen when Billie dares to shows her body to the world.

It all started when a Twitter user posted a rare image of Billie in a tight tank top, along with the caption: "Billie Eilish is THICK."

Enraged fans of the singer stood up for her, eventually getting the user to delete the tweet.

But when the "Bad Guy" spoke to Pharrell Williams for "V" magazine, she took back the comments she made about wearing baggy clothes to avoid being sexualized.

"It’s more, just, I wear what I want to wear," she said.

"But of course, everyone sees it as, 'She’s saying no to being sexualized' and 'She’s saying no to being the stereotypical female'."

"[The] positive [comments] about how I dress have this slut-shaming element."

"Like, 'I am so glad that you are dressing like a boy so that other girls can dress like boys, so that they aren’t sluts'."

"That’s basically what it sounds like to me. And I can't [overstate how] strongly I do not appreciate that, at all."

She just wants everyone can feel comfortable in their own skin.

"I don’t like that there’s this weird new world of supporting me by shaming people that [may not] want to [dress like me]," she finished.

Well, now Billie is setting the record straight *again*.

In a new interview with CBS This Morning host Gayle King, she revealed the real and final reason why she wears baggy clothes.

"Me and my body's relationship has been the most toxic relationship you could even imagine," she said.

"That was the main reason for [dressing in baggier clothing]," she admitted.

She continued: "It's less about, 'My body is ugly, I don't want you to see it,'" Billie said.

"It's more about, 'I'm not comfortable wearing this. I'm comfortable wearing [baggier clothes].'"

She went on to say that dressing in baggy clothes has made her feel more comfortable.

"And I don't mean physically, literally like, feels soft," she clarified. "I mean like, [my] mental comfort."

We're all for her wearing what makes her most comfortable!

Do you, girl!

And in time, hopefully the singer will develop a more loving relationship with her body!
