Andy Dick Sentenced To 14 Days In Jail For Sexual Battery, Released After 24 Hours

Comedian and actor Andy Dick, best known for his work on The Ben Stiller Show, NewsRadio, Less Than Perfect and The Andy Dick Show, has had a complicated few years.

In 2018 Dick plead not guilty to groping an Uber driver in April.

In August of this year, video emerged of Dick getting knocked unconscious after allegedly groping a male fan.

Also in 2018, Dick was charged with misdemeanor sexual battery for allegedly groping a woman who passed him on the street.

According to TMZ, he allegedly squeezed her backside twice and made lewd comments.

Dick pleaded no contest and was sentenced to perform community service.

TMZ reports that Dick failed to complete his required community service.

Since he failed to serve out his sentence, Dick was instead ordered to serve 14 days in L.A. County Jail, according to reports.

However, Andy was released after just 24 hours.

TMZ reports that he checked in December 6th and was released on December 7th due to jail overcrowding.

Dick is infamous for his outlandish behavior including licking, groping, and propositioning coworkers and crew members on various projects.

“Of course I’m going to proposition people,” Dick said after one such allegation was rumored to be the reason why he was fired from a project.

“I’m single, depressed, lonely and trying to get a date. They can just say no, and they probably did and then I was done," he defended himself.
