When the day comes that Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard's daughter comes home with a boyfriend who has a motorcycle, they'll be ready.
The Frozen 2 star just revealed the crazy news that their six-year-old already knows how to ride one!
This pair is just so brilliant and insightful when it comes to raising their two daughters, Lincoln and Delta, together.
Kristen explained the rule to People:
"So if she wants to touch a vase that I know she shouldn’t, I say, ‘Oh, I want to touch it too. Let’s use one finger!’"
"It makes them feel like they have a little bit of a choice," explained Bell.
During a recent interview with Women's Day, Kristen explained how she handled the question all parents dread most.
In the end, the Frozen 2 actress told her daughter that Santa Claus is “an imaginary game we play because it’s really, really fun.”
Ultimately, Kristen wanted to teach her daughter that “when you feel in your gut that something stinks, question it.”
For example, not everyone agrees with how they lock their kids in their bedroom at night.
"My 3-year-old decided to stop sleeping about nine months ago," Bell said.
To handle this, the parents switched the doorknob.
"We turned the lock on the outside."
But, it turns out that there's a really good reason for it.
After sharing that she got her motorcycle license during her first year of dating Dax to impress him, she also revealed that the "Armchair Expert" podcast host is teaching their daughters how to ride motorcycles.
“[Dax] said to me, ‘I want you to know why I’m doing this. Because when [Lincoln is] 16 and she’s got a boyfriend who rides a motorcycle, there is not a girl who rides well in the world that would get on the back of a boyfriend’s motorcycle,'" she said.
"'I don’t want her on the back of some 16-year-old bozo who doesn’t know how to drive.'"
"'So I will give her the skills that she needs to be cautious and prepared, and that way we know she’s in charge and not at the whim of some 16-year-old who just got his license.’"
The family also goes to the sand dunes regularly to go dune buggying.
“I have car seats strapped to the back [of my dune buggy],” Dax had joked to host Seth Meyers in 2017.
“I strap their car seats into the five-point harness and then the car seats have a little harness and they have these cute earmuffs.”
Now that we've digested all of this information, we're gonna need to hop onto a motorcycle, stat, since a six-year-old is now officially cooler than us.
