'The Walking Dead' Star Chandler Riggs Admitted To Hospital After Being Thrown Off A Horse

Despite the fact that Chandler Riggs was around horses during his time on The Walking Dead, it doesn't mean that he will always have a good time with them.

In fact, the poor guy had to be rushed to the hospital once he was thrown off a horse!

Chandler Riggs is one of those actors who you know is going to be super beloved in the future.

Not only is he a talented actor with a bright future ahead of him, but he's also a lot of fun in real life (or at least on social media).

In case you had no idea, the star was major on 'The Walking Dead.'

He lasted a long time, considering it's the zombie apocalypse, and we watched him grow from a boy to a teenager.

The star did have a lot of people who hated him...

He just didn't listen at the beginning of the show!

But most people learned to love him, and so were left with broken hearts when he died.

He often trolls 'The Walking Dead' account for taking him out of the show.

He met an untimely death on the show, which we are still mourning.

The show was forever changed without him.

But recently, tragedy struck for the young actor.

Riggs, who played Carl Grimes on the world-famous The Walking Dead, was recently in a devastating horse accident.

Sure, he just got a mild concussion according to his mother, but I don't think "devastating" was too dramatic of a word.

Luckily, the young man was wearing a helmet.

So there's a good chance he's going to be fine. His mother made an Instagram post after the incident.

She even took the first flight out to LA to take care of the lad. How sweet!

She wrote on her Instagram:

"The call every mom hopes she never gets...Thankfully, he’s going to be ok and thankfully I’m here with him! He was thrown off of his horse yesterday afternoon. Thank GOODNESS he was wearing a helmet. He has a pretty bad concussion and is in a lot of pain but no broken bones! I took the first flight out to LA and got here at around 9:30 last night."

She finished by thanking fans.

"Keep him in your prayers!! Oh, and I had missed his episode so I stayed off of social media until I finally watched it this morning. Thank you for all of the kind words!!!"

Chandler, who likes to stream with his fans, went on Twitter to talk about it.

“No stream today, trying to get my mind back on track. I feel a lot better but I still forget a thing or two from time to time.” he tweeted.

He continued by saying:

“It’s so weird hearing about what I was saying or doing after it happened. For hours I had no idea what year it was, how I got there, what happened, etc. and I just kept asking the same questions over and over again just to immediately forget the answer.”

Apparently, he even streamed himself in the hospital!

But the poor guy just doesn't have the memory to support him.

That must be super hard for him. Our hearts go out to him.
