Idris Elba Proved He Was Sexier Than John Legend In The 90s And Chrissy Teigen Agreed
This year, John Legend was named the Sexiest Man Alive.
At first, his wife Chrissy Teigen seemed pretty excited about his title win, even going so far as to change her Twitter bio to read, "Currently sleeping with People's Sexiest Man Alive."
John was a bit more humble about it.
He showed off his 1995 self next to a more current picture of last year's Sexiest Man Alive, Idris Elba, playfully poking a bit of fun at himself in the process.
Chrissy stood up for him.
Chrissy made a good point that nobody was all that hot when they were younger, and most people age into their hotness like a fine wine. She challenged Idris to share a picture of himself in 1995 to prove it.
Of course, he listened.
Idris shared this shot of him from "1995-ish" and honestly?
Honestly?
It's incredibly unfair that he got to be that hot in 1995 while the rest of us were struggling with the rise of spaghetti strap everything and whale tails.
Even Chrissy had to admit defeat.
At least John knows he's taking over from a VERY worthy predecessor.
