Sister Wives Janelle Brown Reacts to Christine Brown's Engagement

Christine Brown’s former Sister Wives co-star Janelle Brown is happy about her engagement to David Woolley. The couple has been together for four months.

“David treats me like a queen and tells me I’m beautiful every day,” she informed US Weekly. “I’ve never been in love like this before, and the world seems like a brighter place with him in it.”

Christine shared the exciting news on her Instagram for friends, family, and fans. Janelle reposted the announcement on her story with a dancing “HAPPY” GIF.

Christine shared with fans in February about seeing someone. “So I just have to tell you, I am dating someone exclusively.”

She did not reveal her mystery man until then. “He is wonderful and romantic and kind and everything I have been looking for.”

Christine went public about her relationship with Woolley on Valentine's Day via Instagram. “I finally found the love of my life.”

There has been much speculation about the friends and former Sister Wives ever since. Fans have assumed that Janelle may disapprove of this relationship. 

Janelle has not publicly shared her opinion on the relationship. However, there are rumors that she disapproves of the romance. 

Fans began to notice that the former Sister Wives stars were not posting on social media together even. They only shared one promotional video for fans to meet them in Nashville, Tennessee, on Tuesday. 

Christine’s daughter, Gwendlyn Brown, shared with fans that Janelle had not yet met Christine’s boyfriend. She informed the fans about this during an Instagram live session.

“They just haven’t had the chance to meet David,” she said while explaining that her mother was filming for Sister Wives. “When my mom's in town, the cameras are in town simultaneously.”

After her split with Kody Brown, David is Christine’s first relationship. Kody and Christine were spiritually married for 25 years.

After 30 years of togetherness, the couple announced their separation. The duo shares six children: Aspyn, 28; Mykelti, 26; Paedon, 24; Gwendlyn, 21; Ysabel, 19 and Truely, 13. 

When Christine married Kody, he was already married to two other women. He wed Meri Brown in 1990 and Janelle in 1993. 

Kody Brown was also spiritually married to Robyn Brown in 2010. Four years later, he divorced Meri, 52, to legally marry Robyn, 44, and adopt her children. 

In December 2022, Kody announced his split with Meri. However, Meri claimed he did not discuss the breakup with her before promoting it.

Kody has expressed that he wants to amend his relationship with Janelle. However, she is not interested. 

“I’m not waiting for him. I’ve mourned that that part of our life is gone,” she said. The star told about Kody on the family's one-on-one special. 

“I wasn’t heartbroken. It wasn’t heartbreaking for me like it was for Christine. It was just kind of like, I just mourned that that part of my life was gone. We had this great run.”
