Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos Admit Their 'Ludicrous' FaceTime S*x Rituals

The 52-year-old talk show queen and her actor husband tied the knot way back in 1996. Their latest headline-making comes as they reveal "ludicrous" FaceTime "rituals" that kept their love life hot.

Dishing on how she and Riverdale star Mark keep things close when they're physically far apart, Kelly said that the intimate calls had left her “really close to [herself]."

The former sitcom star continued:

“I became so alarmed at my appearance over FaceTime that I started rigging the computer to hang from a ladder."

The bubbly blonde, who eloped to Las Vegas with her husband over 25 years ago, also shared: “I hung the computer over a ladder so that I could look up to Mark and he did not have to see what gravity was actually doing [to me].”

Mark is often out in Vancouver, Canada to shoot the CW Riverdale series he stars on. Meanwhile, Kelly is left solo at the couple's $27 million NYC mansion.

“I didn’t give you a break. There have never been months [between having s*x] unless I was in another country," Mark also shared as the duo appeared on a podcast.

While Kelly and Mark have been husband and wife for 26 years, Kelly jokingly accused her husband of only recently learning the difference between s*x and intimacy.

Kelly and Mark are adored as a couple, but also as parents. Together, they have welcomed sons Michael and Joaquin, plus daughter Lola. Last year, Lola made headlines for jumping into the music business.

Not letting Kelly get away with her claim, Mark fired back, saying:

“I’m going to blame it on the fact that I traveled so much. A lot had to happen in the time that I was home. I wanted to get intimacy in and the s*x in."

The hunky actor then wondered if the two are the "same." Mark is known for gushing over his wife on social media, with both Kelly and Mark renowned for their spicy PDAs and Instagram flirting. Kelly is followed by over 3 million on the platform.

Kelly had touched on long-distance life with Mark back when she was profiled by The Cut in 2019.

"We definitely text a lot because usually one of us is on set and I’m three hours ahead of him, time-wise. On Riverdale, they shoot at night a lot. He’s usually working at 2, 3, 4 in the morning," she shared.

Kelly and Mark are total A-Listers, and everyone loves them on the red carpet!

The pair were, of course, present at the Vanity Fair Oscars After-Party held on March 12 this year. Kelly made sure to post her look to Instagram.

Of the digital advantages time has brought, Kelly also told The Cut:

"When we have the time, we FaceTime, and it’s great to see him."

Kelly is known for chatting about her marriage on Live! and has even likened marriage to a marathon before.

Still hot off the press is the news that Kelly's cohost, Ryan Seacrest, is leaving Live! after six years on the morning talk show.

Who are the producers bringing in? None other than Mark. Fans can't wait to see the two host together.

Mark will commence his co-host role later this year.
