Sean Penn's Ex-Wife Leila George Cuddles With Animal Kingdom Co-Star Ben Robson On Beach

One year after finalizing her divorce from ex-husband Sean Penn, Leila George explores love again in Sydney.

This is the Australian actress's second relationship as she hits the beach in Sydney with her Animal Kingdom co-star, Ben Robson. The two appeared to be smitten on Sunday.

The genetically-blessed couple left no opportunity to pack on the PDA as they spent hours cuddling, chatting, and soaking their beautiful bodies under the sun.

Leila, the daughter of actress Greta Scacchi and producer/actor Vincent D'Onofrio, showcased her enviable physique and tan lines in a revealing black swimsuit. 

She tied her chestnut brown hair in a ponytail, covering them with a black trucker hat and accessorizing her look with earrings and a pendant necklace. At one point, she pulled down her one piece to bake under the sun as Ben looked at her fondly.

On the other hand, Ben flaunted his chiseled washboard abs and only put on a pair of swimming trunks with bracelets and a long pendant necklace.

The couple arrived at the beach in casuals, with Leila sporting black denim shorts paired with a red T-shirt and a brown leather bag engraved with her initials. She shielded her appearance with a black trucker hat and sunglasses.

Ben wore a casual white T-shirt with black cut-off shorts and completed his look with a baseball cap and a red and white beach towel over his shoulder.

At some point in the day, the couple was spotted unloading black suitcases from their car parked near the beach, hinting that the two might be staying somewhere nearby.

Ben plays the character of the second-eldest son of Smurf in Animal Kingdom, Craig Cody, while Leila plays a younger version of the main character, Janine 'Smurf' Cody.

Leila's PDA-packed beach trip comes a year after her divorce from Sean Penn. The two started dating in 2016 and tied the knot after four years in 2020. Leila filed for divorce just a year after their marriage in October 2021.

Sean expressed regrets concerning his split from Leila and opened up about the issues in their relationship, saying that he "f----d up the marriage' because he was 'very neglectful.'"

He further revealed, "There's a woman who I'm so in love with, Leila George, who I only see on a day-to-day basis now because I f---ed up the marriage."

Expressing his mistakes that led to the split, Penn stated, "We were married technically for one year, but for five years, I was a very neglectful guy."

Penn clarified that although he never cheated on Leila, he wasn't entirely hers. He said, "I allowed myself to think that my place in so many other things was so important."

Opening up about the "other things" he got occupied in, Penn revealed, "That included my place in being totally depressed and driven to alcohol and Ambien at 11 o'clock in the morning, by watching the news, by watching the Trump era, by watching it and just despairing."

Sean stated that while he "doesn't know" what his future with Leila will be like, he's been working avidly on the problems that broke his relationship.

Following the divorce, the 62-year-old actor and director presented a "settlement package to the L.A. County Courts," as revealed by The Blast.

While it's unknown who got what in the divorce, we know that the two exes had an irrebuttable prenuptial agreement with all the specifics regarding the finances planned if they split up.
