'Teen Mom 2' Star Jenelle Evans Cries Tears Of Joy Gaining Custody Of Son Jace

The 31-year-old ex Teen Mom 2 star has secured custody of her son, and she posted to Instagram to mark the happy occasion. "#MyHappyEnding, IT'S OFFICIAL!" she wrote.

Addressing her followers, the former JE Cosmetics boss opened up about mom Barbara's decision to return custody to her. Barbara has acted as Jace's legal guardian since his infancy.

"She's completely fine. She's like, 'I'm ready to have my freedom. I'm ready to go on a cruise,' and her and her friend have a cruise already planned," Jenelle shared.

Jenelle is a mom of three, also raising Ensley and Kaiser. "Thanks everyone for the support! Words can't describe how happy I truly am. Our family is complete now! Thank you mom," she wrote to caption her video.

Jenelle shares son Kaiser with ex, Andrew Lewis. She shares Ensley with husband, David Eason, also formerly a cast member of MTV series Teen Mom 2. Kaiser was fathered by ex, Nathan Griffin.

Speaking to UsWeekly about the legal ordeal, Jenelle revealed that she and Barbara jointly decided to grant back full custody of Jace "because we want to build our relationship back as mother and daughter."

The influencer and TikTok face continued:

"Also, my mother agrees it's time for Jace to be back with his siblings and living with a mother and father. She also thinks it's important for Jace to be around a father figure to learn 'boy things' and have 'men talk.'"

In 2019, Jenelle was fired from the MTV franchise that made her famous after husband, David, fatally shot the family dog, Nugget.

In her tearful video, Jenelle also revealed that everything was signed and sealed and that papers at the courthouse had been inked on March 16.

"We have officially signed the papers on Thursday, March 16th at the courthouse, it's a done deal!" she also shared.

Jace was born back in 2009 and while Jenelle was starring on MTV's 16 and Pregnant. Jenelle signed custody of her son to her mother in 2010, with the deal becoming permanent in 2017.

Jenelle is followed by 3.1 million on Instagram. Fans have left her video regarding Jace over 120,000 likes.

Fans have been leaving words of support and plenty of love.

"A good mom doesn’t always get it right, she just never gives up," one user wrote.

Following her MTV exit, Jenelle branched into makeup with her JE Cosmetics eyebrow kits, but the brand sadly didn't take off.

Jenelle has also been dabbling in clothing as she tries to sell her matching sets.

Jenelle has time on and off with husband David. She's even granted a restraining order against him in the past, however her manager states that the couple is rock-solid.

"They're happier then ever now that they are a complete family with Jenelle regaining custody of her son Jace," Jenelle's manager said, saying that the rumors could not be more untrue.
