Lance Reddick's Tragic Last Video Was Taken Just 2 Days Before His Death, Aged 60

The heartbreaking video clip of Lance Reddick, which was shot just two days before his shocking death, depicts the actor from The Wire grinning and singing the soul song And The Beat Goes On in the background as his pet dogs bark.

The 60-year-old artist died in his Los Angeles home on Friday morning.

According to his agent Mia Hansen, the Wire actor passed away suddenly and from natural causes.

Lance's death surprised fans because the John Wick star constantly posted on social media this week.

He shared a video of himself on his Instagram account four days ago.

The celebrity was seen moving around his house in the video as the pet growled and screamed. He smiled and opened his wide-set eyes as he sang, and the beat goes on.

"And the beat goes on... #dogsofinstagram," he captioned.

Later, fans paid praise to the video in the comments.

One fan wrote, "Damn. Loved him. Death can be as quick as turning off a light switch for anybody. How you treat people is all that matters at the end of the day. I'll remember you with a smile, so you've done good, buddy; you've done well." 

One of his fans commented, "I can't believe you're gone; you left so suddenly, so young. We will never forget you; you were and will remain great. Rest in peace."

"They knew, those dogs, I'm telling ya. RIP, a hero to the many, protector of all as I know him, and to the actor whose heart carried his work," A fan commented.

Lance was on a promotional tour for his film, John Wick 4, where he played the concierge, Charon, who works at the hotel for assassins called The Continental.

A day before his terrible passing, he posted an Instagram promotional post about Hard Rock hotels and National Puppy Day that featured a picture of himself curled up with his three pups at home.

He was scheduled to attend the John Wick 4 premiere with co-star Keanu Reaves on Wednesday evening, but he did not show up.

Reddick did not tell anyone why he didn't attend the premiere.

According to reports, he was also said to appear on The Kelly Clarkson Show next week.

Reddick is best known for his role as Daniels in the famous HBO crime series The Wire, where he appeared in all 60 episodes.

Reddick has also appeared in prominent parts on the successful Television programs Fringe, Oz, Bosch, and Lost, as well as providing the voice of Commander Zavala in the Destiny video games.

After the actor's passing news surfaced on Friday, celebrities rushed to Twitter to offer their respects.
