Priscilla Persley has been getting a lot of heat from the media and her niece. With each day, new theories that involve her are coming up. With all the rumors it is almost impossible to know what is true and what isn’t. To find the needle in the haystack, keep reading this article.

Prepping For Something Big

Priscilla Presley skipped the Oscars on Sunday after Elvis was shut out of all eight nominations, but she might have been preparing for the next phase of her legal struggle with Lisa Marie Presley's estate.

Red Carpet Moment

Priscilla, 77, attended her first red carpet presence since Lisa Marie's passing on January 12 last week, notwithstanding her disappearance, to commemorate the premiere of the new Netflix series Agent Elvis.

The Case

She is in a legal battle with her granddaughter Riley Keough, who is an actress, over Lisa Marie's fortune and Graceland's keys, Page Six has reported.

The Drama

In addition to having her participation at the Daisy London premiere canceled, Keough has thoughtfully planned her other press appearances and informed the media that she will not be speaking about her mother nor her grandmother, Priscilla Presley.

The Defendant

Lisa Marie's ex-husband Michael Lockwood, the dad of the 14-year-old daughters Finley and Harper, is now attempting to defend the girls in the legal dispute. The next court hearing is scheduled for April 13 in Los Angeles.

Protecting His Daughters

As per court records acquired by Page Six, the musician, 61, petitioned a judge this week to designate him as Harper and Finley's "guardian ad litem," granting him the power to speak on their daughters' account.

Excluded From The Funeral

Priscilla managed to get Lockwood into Lisa Marie's burial at Graceland in January even though he was not allowed. Priscilla made sure to let others know she is still in charge.

The Divorce

After ten years of marriage, Lisa Marie requested a separation in 2016, and since then, the two have been at clashes, notably over a custody dispute that was just resolved in October.

The Graceland Story

Lisa Marie, the one and only daughter, received Graceland as part of her legacy from a trust that expired on her 25th birthday, making her the sole possessor of the estate.

The Elvis Presley Trust

Lisa Marie, her mother Priscilla Presley, as well as the National Bank of Commerce, decided to establish a new trust called The Elvis Presley Trust to keep up the estate's excellent administration.

Fans were left speculating who will receive her father Elvis Presley's renowned estate after her abrupt and terrible death last week. It was then reported how the properties will automatically be given to her daughters.

Passing On The Legacy

Lisa, in her lifetime, had announced the idea of giving the property to her children. She said, “Graceland was given to me and will always be mine. And then passed to my children. It will never be sold.”

Is This Legit?

The modification that identified Lisa Marie's older daughter Riley Keough and her deceased son Benjamin Keough named successor co-trustees was challenged by Priscilla, 77, who wanted a judge to rule on its legality.

The Financial Struggles

Through the months, Lisa Marie's financial struggles have been widely reported, including her 2018 lawsuit versus Siegel, in which she claimed him of incompetence and poor management of her sizable Elvis fortune.

Joel Weinshanker, a managing shareholder at Elvis Presley Enterprises, stood out in favor of Riley keeping her trustee position despite the legal dispute.

Curiosity Killed The Cat

Priscilla was reported saying, “There is an individual that bought their way into the family enterprise that is trying to speak on behalf of our family. This person is not a representative of Elvis or our family.” She left us all wondering who it was, as she did not name the person.

Protecting The Inheritance

Despite rumors that Keough had altered the keys at Graceland on Monday, a Graceland official denied those claims. He said, “These reports are entirely untrue. No locks at Graceland have been changed since Lisa Marie’s passing.”
