Camila Alves McConaughey Experienced A Nightmarish Airliner Crisis

The wife to actor Matthew McConaughey, 40, was on a flight from Austin, TX to Frankfurt, Germany, but it wasn't smooth sailing as the plane tumbled a staggering 4,000 feet, injuring passengers.

Camila took to Instagram with a video as she told her followers:

"On Flight last night, plane dropped almost 4000 feet, 7 people went to the hospital, Everything was flying everywhere."

The model continued: "To respect the privacy of those around me that’s all I am showing but the plane was a CHAOS And the turbulence keep on coming."

The Brazilian-born sensation was set to stay at the 37,000-foot cruising altitude. Not like things went to plan, though.

In the video shared with her 1 million followers, Camila continued by expressing thanks to those who helped when they could.

"The @lufthansa flight you are seeing on the news today!!!! Yes…that one. Thank God everyone was safe and ok. I must say everyone @marriottbonvoy by the airport of Washington where we had to divert to and spend the night was so kind!" she continued.

The video, seen below, showed an empty airplane corridor strewn with various items clearly on the floor following the "turbulence" used as text in the video.

Proving that a good drink is always needed after a shock, Camila confirmed that she and husband Matthew did hit the bar after.

"@officiallymcconaughey and I made it to the bar with 1 minute before closing…slept well, getting on new flight today, To the journey I continue…," Camila also shared.

Concluding with more gratitude, Camila stated: "Karin Lacy was a savior with me until 1am working on new flights!!!" The star also offered a Spanish translation for her Hispanic followers.

Just prior to her airplane disaster post, Camila posted in a stunning blue look while glammed up. She shouted out luxury brand Hermes while attending the celeb-adored label's Fashion Show in Paris.

The brunette beauty had also shared BTS snippets from Fashion Week. Ironically, she spoke casually of booking a flight in her caption.

While celebrities including Kylie Jenner get hate for flying private, it looks like there are some perks. Although accidents even happen when it's private!

In a separate share, Camila posted speaking about the flight, also showing off her appetite as she tucked into a delicious-looking dinner.

"It’s been “turbulent days” After 2 full days of travel caused by the flight severe turbulence delays, I finally arrived at my destination, with gratitude," Camila captioned the image.

In her caption, Alves also extended thoughts to the seven passengers who had been injured during the flight.
