Olivia Newton-John's Daughter Shows Off Her Convincing Australian Accent

Daughter of the late, great Olivia Newton-John and Matt Lattanzi, Chloe Lattanzi recently took to Instagram to show off her attempt at an Australian accent.

Lattanzi, 37, is currently spending time in Australia, and preparing for interviews with several news sites when she decided to have a little bit of fun during an Instagram video.

Lattanzi Is Currently In Australia Following A Memorial Service Held For Her Mother

Olivia Newton-John, who passed away last August after a years-long battle with cancer, was honored in Australia over the weekend. A memorial service was held for the star on Sunday, which was broadcasted live. The feed continues to be up for the public to watch until March 5th.

Lattanzi Took Her Time In Australia To Try Out The Accent For Herself.

In a video she uploaded to her Instagram account yesterday, Lattanzi spoke about her upcoming plans, all while imitating an Aussie accent.

"Off to do an interview with the Herald Sun. Excited. Really, really pumped," she said. "Then, Sunrise telly. Alright here we go."

She Continued To Speak In The Accent

"Off in the sneakers, no heels, rockin' the jacket," Lattanzi continued. "Not rocking the camera angles, though."

She Then Signed Off

"All right, see you later. Love you Aussies. I've had too much coffee," Lattanzi said, ending the video.

On it, the text overlay reads, "My terrible Aussie accent. I'm tryin,'" accompanied by a laughing emoji.

Fans Were Loving It, Though.

Lattanzi, who has more than 142 thousand followers on Instagram, definitely entertained viewers. Thousands of people liked the post, and countless others left comments and shared their love.

Viewers loved it, with some even thinking she sounded like a true Australian. Lattanzi was born in the US and spent most of her time living there, but her mother famously grew up in Australia.

Some Debated If Lattanzi Actually Sounded Australian

Some compared the star's accent to Kath & Kim, an Australian sitcom from the early 2000s.

But Either Way, Fans Were Loving It.

Some joked that Lattanzi sounded "bogan," and others, including people from Australia, felt that she was pretty spot on.

Olivia Newton-John Battled Cancer For Three Decades

First revealing her breast cancer diagnosis in 1992, Newton-John underwent a partial mastectomy in order to remove cancer. In the years following her initial diagnosis, She became an advocate for breast cancer awareness.

Newton-John Would Once Again Be Diagnosed In 2017.

Newton-John announced that she had once again been diagnosed with breast cancer, which had further metastasized to her sacrum. She would then undergo further treatment.

She Went On To Live Another Five Years

On August 8th, 2022, Olivia Newton-John passed away in her home in Southern California. She was 73 years old.

A Funeral Was Held For Her In September.

A month after her death, family, and friends of Newton-John attended a private memorial for her. Stars such as Marie Osmond, Leeza Gibbons, and John Travolta attended.

Then, Over The Weekend, Newton-John's Family And Friends Held The Public Memorial.

The memorial, which had been in the works for months, had her family in attendance, which included Chloe Lattanzi.

Lattanzi Delivered A Heartfelt Speech For Her Mother

In addition to Newton-John's husband, John Easterling, Lattanzi spoke at the memorial, giving a heartfelt speech in honor of her mother.

She Spoke Of Her Mother With Nothing But Love And Respect.

"My mom could find the beauty in everything," Lattanzi said.

Lattanzi Was Very Close With Her Mother

"My favorite thing to do was watch her watching the birds and the flowers, smelling her roses and the joy it brought to her face was a thing of beauty."

The Two Shared A Special Bond Throughout Lattanzi's Life

"I loved our snuggles," she continued. "I would crawl into bed with her late at night, even until I was 20 years old. I loved the way she smelled, nothing felt safer to me."

Lattanzi Could Only Say Good Things About Her Mother

"I love how she loved fully and completely," she said.
