Zac Efron Melted Hearts With His Valentine's Day Post Featuring Baby Sis Olivia

On February 14, Zac took to his Instagram page to showcase his lovely bond with his three-year-old half-sister, Olivia. The 17 Again actor shared a cute snap of the little girl and added the caption, "My Valentine."

In the snapshot, a shirtless Zac sat next to Olivia on a couch and read a children's book to her. The little girl seemed invested in the book as her eyes were fixed on it while she cozied up to Zac, holding a stuffed animal.

Shortly after the post was shared, many trooped to the comments section to swoon over the duo, including the actor's brother Dylan, who commented, "No, she's mine."

Other users commented on how much of an amazing big brother the Hollywood star is. One fan even related the bond between Zac and Olivia to her and her eldest sibling. She noted that the time invested would mean more to Olivia than they would ever know.

Zac's Valentine's Day post came nearly two months after Olivia celebrated her third birthday. To mark the milestone, The Greatest Showman star took to Instagram to share his wishes for his sister.

Zac posted a photo of Olivia looking at him adoringly and captioned it, "Happy birthday lil sis." In the snapshot, the star cuddled his sister into his chest as she smiled contentedly.

The little girl's flower headband kept her golden curls in place while she marveled at her loving big brother, who was clad in a green button-down shirt. Zac also sported clean-cut hair, lightly styled with gel, which paired well with his rugged appearance.

The upload also had a second picture that showed the star and his sister in the same outfit and poses. But this time, Olivia hugged Zac with her eyes closed as he leaned in, kissing her on her head.

As expected, fans loved the bond between the duo. Considering the 32-year age gap between the duo, many may wonder about their relationship's circumstances. Olivia is Zac's father's daughter, whom he shares with his second wife.

Besides sharing an amazing bond with Olivia, Zac is also very close to his younger brother, Dylan. The pair lived together for a long time, even while the actor enjoyed massive fame and fortune.

During a 2017 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Zac described his brother as a good roommate most of the time. The actor said he trusted Dylan, and they were cool with living with each other.

According to Zac, Dylan was a good guy who looked after the house while he was gone. The Hollywood star even joked about returning home and meeting the house so clean that it was clear the cleaning lady had left some minutes before.

While The Neighbors star is serious about his big brother duties, Zac is not ready to have a little one of his own. While promoting his movie Firestarter — in which he played a father for the first time — Zac said he wasn't in a hurry to be a parent off-screen.

Speaking on an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show in May 2022, the actor pointed out a scene from the movie that made him believe he wasn't ready to be a father. According to Zac, he suddenly had "this daughter" in front of him.

The actor explained that they had a heavy dad-daughter scene "right off the bat," and at that point, he realized he was underprepared for that part. Zac said he thought it would have been easy, but he didn't know what he was doing.

Thankfully, Zac's co-star, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, came to the rescue, and after two days, the actor got the part. However, Zac said it was a healthy dose to put him off having kids for as long as necessary.

The star appeared flustered by the idea of welcoming his own children, pointing out that he had to grow up a little bit before jumping into fatherhood.

Zac then explained that he had a healthy respect for all parents and was very grateful for them before he gave a sweet wave to his mother, Starla Baskett, sitting in the audience.

For now, Zac is only focused on his career. He is currently filming the wrestling biopic The Iron Claw with Lily James. Zac plays wrestler Kevin Von Erick in the film, which will be released later this year.
