Actor Cody Longo made a name for himself when he appeared in Days of Our Lives and Hollywood Heights. Afterward, the star went on to bag more roles, which greatly boosted his career. But sadly, after entertaining the public with his talent for years, Cody passed away at the young age of 34. Here are the details.

Cody Is Found Dead In Bed

According to reports, authorities discovered Cody's lifeless body in bed at his residence in Austin, Texas, on February 8, 2023. Per the report, the actor's wife, Stephanie, was at work at a local dance studio and became worried when she couldn't reach Cody.

Stephanie Calls For A Welfare Check 

So, Stephanie called the police to conduct a welfare check. Upon arrival at the location, the authorities revealed Cody didn't answer the door, forcing them to kick it down.

Cody Struggled With Alcohol Abuse

After finally gaining access to the residence, they found the actor dead in the bedroom. A family member admitted to TMZ that Cody had struggled with alcohol abuse for many years and had recently gone to rehab.

Cody's Cause Of Death

Sadly, the family believed Cody had relapsed and had a strong feeling that alcoholism was the likely cause of the actor's death. However, an official cause of death is yet to be revealed.

Cody was born in Littleton, Colorado, on March 4, 1988. He started his career in the entertainment industry by featuring in many music videos before making his film debut in the 2008 feature Ball Don't Lie

Cody Makes His Small Screen Debut 

The following year, Cody appeared on the small screen for the first time during an episode of Medium. Over the next couple of years, the late performer appeared in supporting roles in features, including Fame and Bring It On: Fight to the Finish.

Cody In One Of His Well Known Roles 

Later, Cody made several appearances as Nikki Russo in the teen drama, Make It or Break It. In 2011, he starred as Nicholas Alamain in eight Days of our Lives episodes. Erik von Detten and Victor Webster had previously filled the character's part.
