Jerry Lawler quickly recovered after suffering from stroke a few days ago. This was a relief for his friends and colleagues, who showed deep concern after it was reported he had suffered a stroke.

According to his representative, who gave an update on the former wrestler's condition on Thursday, the 73-year-old was out of the intensive care unit and will return to his Florida home for outpatient rehab.

With the right rehabilitation, Lawler's doctors believed that the Hall of Famer will fully recover, which was fantastic news for fans worried about his health.

Jerry Suffered Health Issues In The Past

According to PWInsider, the 73-year-old fell ill on Monday after having a stroke at his home in Fort Myers, close to Cape Coral.

Lawler has previously experienced severe health problems beginning in 2012 when he had a heart attack while offering commentary on a show called "Monday Night Raw."

How Lawler Got Injured In A Match

He was in a tag-team match with Randy Orton and Ziggler against CM Punk and Ziggler just ten minutes before the medical emergency.

Although Lawler and Orton ultimately won the match, Ziggler frequently elbowed Lawler in the chest.

He Experienced A Stroke Again

In March 2018, "The King" experienced a stroke at his Memphis home. Later, he claimed that he had trouble speaking for three days and only recovered when he woke up in the hospital.

Keeping Appearances After Injury

In addition to being permitted to wrestle, he was able to make all of his appearances that year during the WrestleMania 34 weekend in New Orleans.

He Has Been A Part Of WWE For Five Decades

Lawler began competing in the ring in his hometown of Memphis in 1970, and has been a part of the WWE for over 50 years. He has gone in and out of retirement, but at 70, he is still an independent wrestler.
