The Secret Behind The Fake Kiss

The story was revealed by their comedic co-star, Andrew Shulz, on The Brilliant Idiots, a podcast he hosts with Charlamagne Tha God.

"I don’t even know if I should share this s***, but the final scene, they don’t even kiss. It’s CGI" "Swear to God, son. I’m there, I’m watching the wedding and I see them going for the kiss and their faces stop like this far."

Shulz was holding his hands inches apart when discussing how close the two leads were standing from each other for the "kiss."

Andrew Explains The Kiss

To Charlemagne's bewildered response, Andrew, 39, said:

"And I’m like: 'I wonder how they’re gonna play that in the movie – oh, they’re probably just gonna cut right there.' But the movie, you can see their faces come close and then you can see their faces morph a little bit into a fake kiss."

The Kiss

Hill and London can be seen kissing each other in the movie. However, confetti is falling all around them, so it is a little hazy between their lips when they lock their mouths.

About The Movie

The movie, which came out last month, follows the relationship between Ezra (played by Hill) and Amira (played by London). Due to their racial differences, the pair have to maneuver a challenging world of societal expectations.

Lauren's Past Relationship

This occurs after Nipsey Hussle, Lauren's longtime boyfriend, was killed two and a half years ago.

Lauren, who has two children — one with Nipsey and one with Lil Wayne — proclaimed that she was done dating last year.

Why She Doesn't Need Another Man

She stated during the IRL podcast that "a lot" of relationships are "ego-driven and not pure."

"So why would I take myself, in this vulnerable state, into my ego when I'm trying to get out of it? I'm in 'death of the ego' space." "Why do I need another - why? Does that make my life complete?"

She And Nipsey Shared Pure Love

She claimed that although she and Nipsey "had pure love," however:

"That does not mean that we were not human and our egos did not get attached into aspects of our relationship."
