Lisa Marie's Posthumous Birthday

Lisa Marie, who passed on January 12 at 54, would have been 55 today (February 2, 2023), and her mother, Priscilla Presley, decided to mark it with promises in an emotional birthday message.

Protecting The Fam

In the message, she expressed her intent to protect her three grandchildren and keep the family together.

“Today would have been Lisa’s 55th birthday. My wish is to protect my three grandchildren and keep our family together. From the first moment I held Lisa in my arms, I’ve protected, loved and guided her, as I have my son. Our hearts are broken, and I am having to learn to live without my only daughter.”

A Heart Of Gratitude

She concluded the message by thanking the fans for their overwhelming support since Lisa Marie's tragic passing.

“We truly love all of you, and we feel your prayers. Thank you so much for caring so deeply for our family.”

This message comes days after Priscilla wrote to contest the contents of her daughter's will that removed her (Priscilla) and former business manager from the position of co-trustees.

New Successors

Lisa Marie reportedly replaced the duo with her two eldest children, one of which is now dead, leaving Riley Keough as the successor and co-trustee.

Priscilla's Claims

According to the court documents, Priscilla cited several inconsistencies with details on the will, including Lisa Marie's signature, which she claimed was incorrect, and her name, which was spelled wrong.

Riley Keough is set to inherit all of Lisa Marie's estate, which has been put into a trust. A source close to the family has described all of Priscilla's attempts to contest the will as a mere "money grab".

The source also claimed Lisa Marie had no relationship with her mom, her ex-husband Michael Lockwood and her half-brother Navarone Garibaldi.
