Stephen 'tWitch' Boss' Mom Almost Called Him About His New Gap Ad

On January 30, Gap released its latest campaign with menswear brand The Brooklyn Circus, featuring a tribute to Stephen. The Hip Hop freestyle dancer, who ended it all in December 2022, was photographed for the campaign before his demise.

The uploads featured Stephen doing a high-step move while wearing a Gap 1968 logo varsity jacket, a tote bag, cuffed trouser pants, and black loafers. The caption that accompanied the campaign photo read, "In loving memory of our friend Stephen "tWitch" boss." 

Gap revealed it would support the 988 Lifeline by donating to Vibrant Emotional Health to honor the late DJ further. The organization provides confidential emotional support and counseling to people in crisis or emotional distress around the clock.

The day after the Gap campaign was released, Stephen's mother, Connie Boss Alexander, took to Instagram to celebrate her late son and express her mixed feelings. 

Connie shared a snippet of the ad on her Instagram Story. In the caption, the grieving mom revealed she almost called Stephen to compliment him about how great he looked. However, she then remembered her son was dead, breaking her heart.

Connie was not the only family member to react to the beautiful Gap ad as Stephen's wife Alison Holker also released a statement, expressing her thoughts on the vibrant images which captured her husband's true essence.

In the statement, Alison disclosed that when she and Stephen first saw the photos from the campaign, it brought tears to their eyes. Alison said the dancer was so moved by how they captured his true essence and was excited for the world to see them.

She finished by relaying that they paid tribute to Stephen's life by sharing the beautiful snapshots in homage to the joy and light the television personality brought to everyone around him.

Stephen died on December 13, 2022, three days after he celebrated his ninth wedding anniversary, leaving behind his wife and three children, Weslie, Maddox, and Zaia as well as other family members. May his soul continue to rest in peace.
