Following his sudden passing on December 14, 2020, friends and families of Stephen 'tWitch' Boss gathered for a small funeral service and finally laid him to rest. This is such an emotional period for the former Ellen DeGeneres Show DJ's close relatives, who were in no way prepared for his death.

The dancer and DJ has been laid to rest at a small family service according to a source which confirmed to PEOPLE today. Remember he died by suicide on December 13 at just 40 years old leaving behind his wife and children.
His sad death was confirmed by his wife Alison Holker Boss in a statement to PEOPLE. She described him as a star who lit up every room he entered, and "valued his family. friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him."
Holker Boss described him as the "backbone of the family" in the statement and the best husband and father to their kids. He also served as an inspiration to his fans with his positive outlook on life.
She continued with the emotional statement about his unbeatable legacy, and how his positive impact will continually be felt.
"I am certain there won't be a day that goes by that we won't honor his memory. We ask for privacy during this difficult time for myself and especially for our three children."
She concluded the statement by assuring him of everyone's love, and yearning for his presence while vowing to always save the last dance for him.
"Stephen, we love you, we miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you."
The late DJ gained popularity as a contestant on MTV's The Wade Robson Project before proceeding to become a runner-up on Star Search. He also competed on So You Think You Can Dance back in 2008 ending as a runner-up on season 4 and later returning as an All-Star and then a judge in the 2022 edition.
Boss joined The Ellen DeGeneres Show as a guest DJ in 2014 and worked his way into becoming a permanent entity on the show. Soon, he became a co-executive producer on the show in 2020.
Boss also tried his hands at hosting duties as he previously co-hosted Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings with his wife. He also appeared in shows like Magic Mike XXL, Modern Family, and Step Up All In.
He often posted dance videos with his wife and kids offscreen on his social media accounts. Allison also competed in So You Think You Can Dance.
