Taylor Swift’s cat is living the purr-fect life!
The cute Scottish Fold named Olivia Benson, one of three cats that call the 33-year-old pop superstar Mom, just made it to the Richest Pets list of All About Cats. And her estimated net worth is more than what most of us will earn in a lifetime!
Olivia has a jaw-dropping $97 million net worth, landing her on the number three spot of the website’s “The Ultimate Pet Rich List.”
According to the site, the fluffy feline amassed her wealth by starring with Swift in some of her music videos and appearing in ads for Diet Coke and Ned Sneakers, among others. Plus, she has her own line of merch.
Number two on the list – and beating Olivia’s net worth by just $3 million – is Nala Cat, who earned her $100 million fortune from her own premium cat food brand.
And on the top spot is Gunther VI, a German Shepherd with a $500 million net worth. Owned by the Gunther Corporation, the dog inherited $80 million from his grandfather and grew it to $500 million through real estate investments.
As for the rest of the list, Oprah Winfrey’s five dogs make it to the number four spot. Sadie, Sunny, Lauren, Layla, and Luke will reportedly inherit $30 million from the talk show host and media mogul.
Other rich and famous pets on the list include canine influencer Jiffpom with $25 million, Karl Lagerfeld’s cat Choupette who inherited $13 million, and Betty White’s Golden Retriever Pontiac with a $5 million inheritance from the Golden Girl.
All About Cats created the list “[b]y analyzing the Instagrams of pets with the most followers, likes, and engagement rates.” The site also estimated how much money each pet could earn per post.
In December 2020, Swift posted a pic of Olivia chilling in a box, which got more than two million likes. Earlier that year, another photo of the adorable feline posing on a sofa gathered over two million likes as well.
Olivia, who was named after Mariska Hargitay’s character in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, appeared with Swift in her Blank Space and Me! music videos.
