T.J. Holmes' Estranged Wife Breaks Silence On Affair

Since the public became privy to the workplace affair of GMA's Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes, his wife, Marilee Fiebig has laid low sticking to keeping mum. However recent development showed that Fibeig has broken her silence. Through her attorney, Stephanie Lehman, Fiebig opened up about how she felt. She lashed out at Holmes accusing him of "a lack of discretion. respect and sensitivity."

Per DailyMail, Lehman made it known that as Holmes's affair played out amid the holidays, Fiebig chose to stay focused on the wellbeing of their daughter. She made decisions solely for the nine-year-old's interest while moving forward wot the divorce proceedings. The attorney added that she and Holmes' lawyer have been working together and privately to dissolve the marriage "as amicably as possible."

Regardless of how it seemed like Fiebig is doing a good job keeping her composure while moving on, she can't help but be disappointed in how her husband of 12 years handled things. Lehman shared that "we [Fibeig]" have continued to be disappointed in Holmes' behavior towards her and their daughter. She also noted the lawyer was conscious of the public support she has been receiving as she looks forward to a "new beginning."

Fiebig and Holmes tied the knot in 2010 and there years later, they welcomed a daughter, Sabine. While she was Fiebig's first child, she became Holmes' third child. He was already a dad to two kids from his first marriage to Amy Ferson. Once speaking with Mari Claire, Fiebig opened up about how becoming a mother changed her.

After the GMA romance made it to the public, Holmes; wedding anniversary shoutout to his wife went viral. he had made the post months before the news of his affair. In the viral post, the 45-year-old shared that he gave Fibeig many reasons to leave, but was surprised she was willing to put up with him. He penned:

"This particular #decadechallenge is a little late, but… 10 years ago, Marilee Fiebig married me. And despite my best efforts, she remained married to me for the past 10 years," he wrote. "That's not hyperbole. I'm not being dramatic. I gave her plenty of reasons, excuses, and opportunities to walk her fine ass out the dooooooor."

Reports got out that Fiebig and her husband had been working on their marriage although they were separated. A source made it known that she felt blindsided by her husband's affair.

On Robach and Holmes' part, it seems the duo has been handling the affair by putting on a united front. At first, they kept their distance from each other as ABC commenced an investigation into their office romance. However, towards the holidays, fans saw the couple seemingly rekindling their romance. They spotted at different times packing on the PDA.

Robach and her husband Andrew Shue are said to be in divorce mediation. Back in 2009, Shue and Robach were introduced by mutual friends and in 2010 just like Holmes and Fiebig, they got married. The TV star and Melrose Place actor joined their blended families. Reports show that the duo was separated as of August 2022.
