A few hours ago, Renner took to his official Instagram page, sharing a photo of himself looking worse for wear but stable.

The Bourne Legacy actor posed for the snapshot while reclining on the hospital bed. He was dressed in patterned white scrub while keeping his glasses on. Renner had tubes connected to his nostrils for better breathing, while one side of his face was covered in bruises, and dried blood.

In his caption, The Hurt Locker actor thanked his slew of admirers for the support, while sending out his love. His short caption read, "Thank you all for your kind words. I'm too messed up now to type. But I send loge to you all."

With over 100,000 thousand replies, the actor's fans filed to the comment section showing their love. While many prayed for his swift recovery, others showed their hearts were with him, as they posted a slew of red heart emojis.

Renner had been going about his business on New Year's Day, trying to clear out the snow of his driveway for his family to drive out. Reports showed that they had spent the yuletide with him, and were preparing to be on their way. Renner also took that same moment to clear out his neighbor's drive too.

However, he took a moment off to help a stranded motorist, and that was where things went south. In an accident that affected only him, the award-winning actor's snowplow had a mishap that resulted in him being battered. The Marvel star had to be airlifted to the nearest local hospital.

At the time his accident was reported, Renner was in a complicated state. He underwent emergency surgery and was later in a critical but stable condition. He sustained blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries After the operation, the Hawkeye star was transferred to the intensive care unit.
