Being that it's 2022, you'd think we'd have gotten to a point where we understand that body-shaming someone is wrong. Unfortunately, it seems that some people have yet to truly comprehend the message and remain incapable of keeping their opinions to themselves.

Recently, actress/comedian Iliza Shlesinger made an appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience. When the topic of conversation turned toward Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and what he eats for his "cheat meals," Iliza became irate — even going as far as to call The Rock bothersome for his menu selections. It has since reignited a debate regarding body positivity and compelled many to ask how Iliza would feel if Dwayne were to critique her diet.

Dwayne began his career wrestling in the WWE (then WWF) and went on to become the most electrifying man in sports entertainment. From there, he dipped his toe into the world of cinema and, in almost no time at all, became one of the most sought-after stars of his generation. He's also a business mogul with several successful ventures, including Teremana Tequila and ZOA Energy Drinks, and serves as the Co-Founder/CEO of Seven Bucks Productions — a consumer-first global enterprising platform that seeks to encompass all avenues in the entertainment industry.

The World Of Fitness And Body Building

A quick scroll through Dwayne's Instagram page reveals one thing for certain — absolutely nobody outworks him in the gym. Being that Dwayne tips the scales at over 260 lbs, he requires an incredible caloric intake in order to maintain his muscle mass. One of the ways in which he is able to maintain his weight is through indulging in the occasional "cheat meal." These normally consist of things like wheels of sushi, mountains of pancakes, and all the cookies Dwayne can eat.

Iliza Shlesinger Isn't Convinced

Iliza was crowned the winner in 2008's Last Comic Standing competition. She's an actress/comedian known for her slew of comedy specials on Netflix, as well as for her appearances in films like Spenser Confidential, Instant Family, and Robot Chicken.

Recently, Iliza made an appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast and had nothing but bad things to say about Dwayne and his social media presence.

"When you look at The Rock's Instagram, his "cheat day" meals really bother me," Iliza begins.

Insane But Not Indulgent

Joe is quick to point out how Dwayne eats stacks of pancakes and mountains of cookies, but Iliza asserts that the pancakes don't look normal. "It's never, like, buttermilk/whipped cream. It's like: protein, coconut, pineapple; with like, flavinoids, peanut butter, and then Teremana Tequila." Iliza then goes on to critique The Rock's choice of sushi, going as far as to call it "Costco sushi."

Joe attempts to make the argument that perhaps it's simply what he likes to eat, but Iliza will hear nothing of the sort. "Something's up," she asserts as Joe looks on, incredulously. Many have called her comments insensitive and have questioned why Iliza should have the final word on what The Rock deems to be indulgent. As the Brahma Bull would perhaps say, she'd do well to know her role, and shut her mouth.
