Christmas has come early for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City's Jen Shah. It has now been confirmed that the sentencing in her fraud case has been postponed until after the holidays.

Shah pleaded guilty to her participation in a nationwide telemarketing scam, and her arrest was captured by Bravo cameras during a memorable Season 2 episode of the newly-minted Housewives franchise.

During a memorable girls' trip in Season 2, Shah received a phone call alerting her that she was going to be arrested. She fled the party bus in a hurry, without offering up any explanation to her friends and fellow travelers. Not long after her departure, the bus was pulled over by Homeland Security, and Shah was eventually arrested in Utah — all of which was captured on camera.

Shah initially denied all accusations and continued to maintain her innocence, up until her alleged co-conspirators began to enter a plea of "guilty." At the beginning of July 2022, Shah was the only remaining defendant not to enter a plea of "guilty" — a stance which she inevitably changed as part of a plea deal.

The Initial Sentencing In Shah's Case was Due To Take Place On November 18th, 2022.

However, U.S. Attorney Damian Williams requested a postponement due to a scheduling conflict. The court date was supposed to be rescheduled to December 15th, 2022, until Shah's own attorney, Priya Chaudhry, put in a postponement request of her own. Shah is now set to meet her fate during the first week of the new year, January 6th, 2023. The terms of Shah's plea include a prison sentence of anywhere from 11 to 14 years and a fine of $9.5 million.

Shah admitted to, "Wire fraud, offering services with little to no value. We used interstate telephones and emails. I knew many of the purchasers were over the age of 55. I am so sorry," Shah said, according to court documents.

It has been confirmed that Shah's legal mishap, up until the time of her sentencing, will be included in the most recent season of RHOSLC. However, as to whether or not fans will bear witness to the aftermath — Bravo host Andy Cohen has eluded to the fact that Shah will likely not be returning for Season 4.
