Dynamic duos have become an integral part of film and television over the years. Iconic pairings like Batman and Robin, Bert and Ernie, and of course — Toy Story's Woody and Buzz Lightyear.

Recently, the voice of Buzz Lightyear himself, Tim Allen, sat down with Kelly Clarkson to discuss his long and enduring friendship with co-star Tom Hanks and whether or not fans can expect to see the paradigmatic pair on the big screen any time soon.

After Brief Pleasantries, Clarkson Steered The Conversation To The Topic Of 'Toy Story'

Both Allen and Hanks were recently spotted having lunch together recently by TMZ, so Kelly decided she'd ask the question that was on everybody's mind and inquire as to whether or not fans can expect to see Woody and Buzz reunite for one last ride. Instead of addressing the question head-on, Allen instead began extolling upon the many virtues of his friend and co-star.

The revered comedian then went on to discuss how he and Tom are very different people and revealed an interesting (albeit slightly annoying) habit that Hanks has — he eats off of peoples' plates.

"I remember that — I come from a family; you don't do that. Cause you've got a lot of kids; if I ate it, I want it. So Tom's in the middle of the first Toy Story going, 'Oh, this is just so much fun working with you.' And I go, 'Those are actually my french fries. That's why they're in this area here.'"

Tim Goes On To Say That Even Though He And Tom Differ On So Many Things, He Still Absolutely Adores His Heart And Mind.

Tim told Kelly that their differences make for some of the most enjoyable, if not slightly peculiar lunches he's ever had — and that the pair have been meeting for lunch at least twice a year since the first Toy Story film was made.

"We're like two older women because we will sit almost too close to each other at a booth — it's just weird," Tim joked to Clarkson.

According to Tim, Hanks' Own Wife, Rita Wilson, Doesn't Even Know What The Two Talk About During Their Lunches.

Tim seems content to keep the subject matter of their lunch dates to himself, although he happily proclaims that there isn't another person on earth with whom he feels he can be more open and honest.

As to whether or not Toy Story fans can expect Woody and Buzz to travel to infinity and beyond for a fifth film remains to be seen. But many remain hopeful that Lightyear won't be given the final word on the historic franchise.
