The dating world can be hard enough to navigate when the men you're seeing just aren't interesting or compatible with you. But the fact that there are a lot of lying, cheating, and downright abusive potential dates makes it that much harder.

That's why Tracy Tegan decided to step in, and create a database for all the horrible ex-boyfriends women have had.

The Ex Boyfriend List is available on Girl Power Girl Strong.

Girl Power Girl Strong was founded by Tegan, and hosts a variety of content with the aim to empower women as they navigate a male-dominated society.

This includes warning other women about potentially horrible dates.

The Ex Boyfriend List is exactly as it sounds; it's a database full of men who have treated women horribly.

"We all have that loser ex we want to warn others about, and now you can do just that," the site's description reads.

"This is your very own bad boyfriend database, or as we like to call it, the bad boyfriend list!"

"Just enter the name of your ex in the search box to find out if he's already on the bad boyfriend list or you can click here to report your ex-boyfriend."

There are also a number of rules users have to follow in order to post.

While the database posts some information like the man's name and his city and state, users are prohibited from providing other details like their phone number, place of work, or address.

They also expect every story to be the truth.

Another huge rule for using the database is to tell the truth: "Talk about what your ex-boyfriend did to you but don’t makeup lies. Come on, you are better than that."

And of course, women are discouraged from giving too many intimate details.

Other than that, though, it's basically open season. Users post the stories of these men, sharing the ways they mistreated their ex-girlfriends (and what they could possibly do to future girlfriends).

The website definitely gets a lot of traction.

Unfortunately, too many women have had to deal with men who couldn't be bothered to treat them with dignity. Fortunately for everyone else, though, hundreds of woman have decided to share their experiences.

And they really are from across the country.

While the website allows you to search for specific names, it also shows the entire database from date posted, with stories that range from being manipulative or unfaithful, to emotional and even physical abuse.

The stories show how difficult it can be to trust a man you think you might want to date.

One woman complained that her ex was in several long-term relationships while being in a "committed" relationship with her. Another complained that he had stolen money from her family.

And it's not just American women making use of the database.

Plenty of the bad exes are from the United States, but women from Australia, Canada, and the U.K. have made use of the database as well. Women from all over are flocking to protect women.
