Congratulations are in order for Hilary Swank, who recently announced she is pregnant with twins! The P.S. I Love You actress shared the exciting news on social media Wednesday and friends and fans alike could not be happier for the 48-year-old and her husband, Philip Schneider. Of course, since Hilary is an older mom, trolls had to come out and say negative things about the wonderful news on the expecting mom's Instagram post– typical.

Thankfully, Hilary's good friend Emmy Rossum was there to defend her.

On Wednesday, actress Hilary Swank announced she was pregnant with twins.

The first-time mom shared the exciting news on social media alongside a video montage of her pointing to her belly.

"Coming soon…DOUBLE feature!" she captioned the IG post.

"This is something that I've been wanting for a long time and my next thing is I'm gonna be a mom," Hilary shared on "Good Morning America," as per "People."

"And not just of one, but of two. I can't believe it."

For those who don't know, Hilary tied the knot with hubby Philip Schneider back in 2018.

"I was overwhelmed with such gratitude and thanks to be marrying the man of my dreams and to see all the people we love together in the middle of such a profound setting," she told Vogue at the time. "It was truly a dream come true."

Hilary's pregnancy post has gained so much positive attention and love, as it deserves. Sadly, however, we know people on the internet can't help but be rude for no reason.

Amongst the thousands of joyful comments, one troll decided to age-shame Hilary.

"AREN’T YOU LIKE 50 YRS OLD? Gonna be in your 70’s [sic] when they graduate college. MIGHT live to see their wedding, maybe," the user wrote, as per Page Six.

Thankfully, Hilary's good friend and "You’re Not You" co-star Emily Rossum was quick to defend the mamma-to-be.

She replied with the letters "giy" which stands for "go [expletive] yourself."

Now THIS is the type of support we love to see!

We're so thrilled for you, Hilary!
