Britney Spears is truly the queen of the hair flip. To be fair, she is the queen of many things (including her iconic spin dance move) but c'mon... there is no denying that the HAIR FLIPS ARE ICONIC! From "Toxic" to "Gimmie More" Britney keeps fans star-struck with her blonde locks.

So when the 40-year-old announced on Instagram that she had cut all her hair off, fans were dying to know more.

If you're not following Ms. Britney Spears on Instagram right now, you're missing out on so much amazing content.

Many people don't know this, but Britney is a sketch comedy queen!

Don't believe me? Check out the video above!

Since her conservatorship ended last year, the mom of two has been expressing herself and her sexuality freely on her social media.

This means a lot of artsy nudes taken in her home, in the pool, and on the beach.

While I'm thrilled for Brit, this means I can't really share the video I'm about to be talking about here.

However, here is a link to the Instagram video where she shares that she has given herself a major haircut!

"I cut all my hair off … I don’t want to show it yet!!!" the 40-year-old shared in a new video.

Fans could spot a much shorter ponytail sticking out of the songstress's sunhat along with choppier side bangs.

From the side, you can just how much shorter Britney's hair looks — she did NOT come to play!

Of course, this is not the first time Britney has DIY'd a new hairdo, but at least this time she was able to do it without hoards of invasive and disrespectful paparazzi surrounding her.

The video has fans calling the singer "Bobney" which is a nickname I can get behind.

I think it's great that Britney is finally getting to decide what she wants to do with her body — it's something we all deserve!
