Disneyland California's Seasonal Halloween Treats That You Simply Must Try, Trust Me

Disney is known for a lot of things: their amazing movies, and their fantastic TV shows, but above all, no one can do an amusement park like them. That's in part, due to their rides, which go above and beyond anything else I have ever seen.

But it's also because of how much they will go out of their way to ensure that every single guest is having the time of their lives. That holds true even with their food and drinks. I visited Disneyland California recently, and they are going HARD on Halloween snacks and drinks. It's seasonal though (most of them are available until Nov.10), so make sure you grab them while they are around!

I've compiled a list of my personal favorites, and believe me, you will want a taste of these.

'Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe': Mickey Mummy Macaron

It has to be said: I love a macaron. I don't even care what flavor it is, I love the texture, I love that I can finish it in two bites, and I love that there seems to be every flavor that you would want to try.

But of course, Disney had to come up with a way to make macarons even more fun. For only $6.99 at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe, you get a huge macaron. This mummy (and yummy) Mickey Mouse is filled with delicious cookies and cream filling. Considering the price of regular macarons, it's a super fun way to get your fix and get into the spirit of Halloween!

'Red Rose Taverne': Pumpkin Cold Brew

I am not afraid to say it: I'm not a fan of pumpkin-flavored anything. It's just not my jam. How do I know that? Because for some reason, I still try every single pumpkin-flavored thing that I can find. As it turns out, it's a good thing I do, because I finally found the one pumpkin drink that I genuinely enjoy.

Red Rose Taverne's pumpkin cold brew was absolutely delicious. It has just the right amount of pumpkin so that it doesn't overwhelm the coffee, but still leaves your taste buds saying: hey, we like that fancy touch you added. Plus, it's the perfect way to cool off in September if it's still warm out!

'Pym Testing Lab': Snack Molecules

While I love popcorn, I'll admit that I mostly wanted to try this just so I could see the name "Scott L" on my bag (hey, I'm a big Marvel fan, all right?). Regardless, it was a smart purchase from Pym's Testing Lab.

The bag consists of flavored popcorn, mini pretzels, honey-roasted peanuts, popped sorghum, and mini peanut butter candies. It's those peanut butter candies that really, in my opinion, make it feel like the perfect seasonal snack for fall.

'Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor': Rocky Road Halloween Sundae

Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor has some of the best-tasting ice creams in Disneyland. So when I found out that they were housing a seasonal ice cream, I just HAD to try it.

Their seasonal bowl, the Rocky Road Halloween Sundae, consists of rocky road ice cream, marshmallow cream (and tiny marshmallows), hot fudge, and sprinkles all together in a delicious waffle bowl. You can add whipped cream if you desire it, but personally, I think the ice cream is actually tastier without it. Whipped cream might take away from all the fun flavors! It is a bit messy though, so make sure you sit down to eat it and grab some napkins!

BONUS: 'Salt & Straw': Cold Brew Coffee Cashew Praline, A West Coast Exclusive

While not necessarily a seasonal treat, the cold brew coffee cashew praline ice cream at Salt & Straw in Downtown Disney is still worth mentioning due to its exclusivity and taste.

I am a giant ice cream fan, and my favorite ice cream just happens to be coffee. But adding the little bits of cashews to munch on while you get that sweet taste of the ice cream and the praline is the combination I didn’t know I needed.
