Are you a fan of reality shows? If you are, I'm sure you recognize some of these couples below. I don't know about you, but I can never imagine finding true love on TV. But for these pairs, love bloomed in one of the most unusual places, to say the least.

However, not all of these couples stood the test of time. So let's look at those who made it and who sadly called it quits.

Michelle Young and Nayte Olukoya

Here's a couple many people were rooting for. These two met on the set of The Bachelorette where Michele was looking for a love match. Their chemistry was evident from the very first moment they laid their eyes on each other. Michele even gave Nayte her first impression rose and ended up presenting him with her final rose. At the end of the show, the couple received $200,000 for a downpayment on a house.

Sadly, this courtship didn't last and this pair went their separate ways only six months after they announced their engagement.

Amber Pike and Matt Barnett

Have you ever watched Love is Blind? I'll confess I've never heard of this show, ha, ha. One of the couples on the program, Amber Pike and Matt Barnett, managed to get over their issues and ended up at the altar. These lucky two have now celebrated their third wedding anniversary. Wow! Good for them, huh?

Danielle Ruhl and Nick Thompson

Speaking of Love is Blind, here's another lovely pair that hit it off on the show. So much so that they, too, ended up getting married. I guess it wasn't a surprise to the fans since the couple was quite the pair. Who remembers their fun hot dog costumes or the Guitar Hero drum sets, huh?

However, what must've come as a surprise was Danielle filing for divorce just earlier this month. Ah, that's so sad, right?

Cam and Emily

Speaking of unusual pairs, here's Cam and Emily from Too Hot to Handle for you. If you have ever watched the show, you know that some couples do get into trouble. These two broke too many rules that they actually lost $17,000 as a result of it. Holy, moly! However, that didn't stop their love from blooming, and this hot couple is still going strong.

Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo

This gorgeous couple met on Season 13 of The Bachelorette. Needless to say, they hit it off so much that at the end of the show, Rachel accepted Bryan's proposal. The couple tied the knot in 2019 and have just celebrated their third wedding anniversary. Kudos to these lovebirds for showing us how it's done.

Aaron Buerge and Helene Eksterowicz

Okay, I'll admit I stopped watching The Batchelor a long time ago. But I still recall the romance of Aaron Buerge and Helene Eksterowicz. Even though these two seemed like a good match I had my reservations and as it turns out I was right.

This couple broke up just five weeks after getting engaged. Apparently, Aaron took Helene to a Starbucks and revealed that he was no longer "emotionally invested" in their relationship. Yikes!

Madlyn Ballatori and Colby Kissinger

Another reality show I never got into is The Ultimatum. If you watched the Madlyn Ballatori and Colby Kissinger relationship on the show, you know it was quite the wild ride. But throughout all their ups and downs, this couple did say "I do" after all, and believe it or not, they're still together. And they actually had a baby, too.

Iyanna McNeely and Jarrette Jones

Here's another relationship that started out pretty rocky. If you watched these two on Love Is Blind, you know what I'm talking about, alright. But out of it all, the couple made it and got married, after all. It all seemed too good to be true though as earlier this month, the couple filed for divorce. Oh, shucks!

Peter Weber and Madison Prewett

Let's move on to this reality TV couple. As you might remember Peter Weber called off his engagement to Hannah Ann Sluss at the end of Season 24 of The Bachelor. Instead, he chose Madison Prewett to be his love match. But sadly this romance was short-lived and the couple called it quits two days after reuniting during the "After the Final Rose" special.

Clayton Echard and Susie Evans

This couple definitely had people confused, ha, ha. They were hot and heavy, and then they were not. After breaking things off on The Bachelor, everybody thought that was it. But then the shocker came when these two announced that they were back together. Apparently, they're still dating and trying to make a long-distance relationship work. I say best of luck to them.

Heather Seidel and Derek Schwartz

These two met in Season 4 of Married at First Sight. Believe it or not, they actually got hitched after all. But things started to unravel during their honeymoon when Heather couldn't deal with Derek's smoking habit. And after all that, the couple split only ten days after getting married. OMG!

Lauren and Cameron

Cameron and Lauren were one of the two only couples to make it beyond coupling up on Love is Blind in the first season. This lucky couple is still going strong and just celebrated their third wedding anniversary. They even released their first book called Leap of Faith, where they shared their journey on LIB (and beyond).

Brooke Blurton and Darvid Garayeli

Fans of The Bachelorette Australia might remember this couple. Their courtship on the show seemed like a fairytale, with Brooke proclaiming she never knew what it felt like to meet her soulmate until the moment she gave Darvid her final rose. Aww, goosebumps! Am I right?

Unfortunately, earlier this year, the couple announced their split. I guess they weren't soulmates after all.

Cashay and Cinco

Say "hello" to another interesting reality TV couple. Cashay and Cinco's romance on Love Island USA Season 3 sure went through a lot of ups and downs. Even after getting into love triangles and recoupling with other people and then being sent home at different times, they managed to rekindle their romance. They're still going strong as we speak.

Alexis Maloney and Hunter Parr

These two had a turbulent start to their relationship on The Ultimatum. They tried to pair off with other people, but that didn't go well for either of them. So at the end of the show, they got engaged, and believe it or not, they're actually still going strong. Funny how things turn out. Am I right?

Amber Lee and Ethan Diamond

These two cuties met on the set of MTV's Are You the One? For those who don't know this show secretly pairs couples at the beginning with the person who is an ideal fit for them via a matchmaking algorithm. Then, they have to figure out who their match is.

Well, for these two it was definitely a match made in heaven as they are still together. They even celebrated their seventh anniversary and now have two children. Wow!

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries

One of the biggest train wrecks we all witnessed on TV was the relationship between Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries. These two fell in love in the Season 2 of Kourtney and Kim Take New York, but it all fell apart.

I don't know about you, but I cringed when I watched their four-hour wedding special called Kim's Fairytale Wedding. If you didn't spot trouble there, you must've been blind, ha, ha. And as we all know, that relationship went kaput 72 days later when Kim filed for divorce. Ouch!

Trista and Ryan

Okay, I think you'll agree that I left the best couple for last, no? We all remember Trista being the runner-up on The Bachelor, and because she was so well-liked, she became the first-ever bachelorette to get her own show. And that's where she met Ryan. Sparks flew right away, and the two ended up coupling up. We even got to watch their wedding in a televised special.

The amazing news is that this couple is still together after all these years and share two beautiful children. Isn't that a match made in heaven or what?

Wow, what do you think of that?

Honestly, reality TV matchmaking shows are such a trip for me. You never know what will happen on the show and whether the people involved are really in love or just faking it. But as you can see from these couples, sometimes things work out amazingly, and other times they end up in a disaster, haha. So which pair surprised you the most?
