Full House star Jodie Sweetin, 40, opened up about how she knew former co-star and friend Bob Saget was with her when she got married.

Losing a loved one is never easy, especially when it comes to our big milestone days or events that we would've loved to have seen them at. Birthdays, anniversaries, and of course, weddings are all huge moments in our lives where we can feel the absence of people we've lost sorely — but sometimes, we can feel their presence in unexpected ways too. Jodie Sweetin has opened up about this experience in an emotional interview.

Bob Saget was a beloved icon of pop culture.

Whether it was for his standup comedy, his TV hosting duties, or for his work as Danny Tanner on Full House and its sequel spinoff Fuller House, we all knew him and loved him. His tragic and unexpected death last year hit many fans pretty hard, but of course, the people who knew and loved him like his family and co-stars were effected even harder.

Jodie Sweetin, who played Bob's daughter Stephanie on 'Full House' recently got married.

Jodie explained that at her wedding there was a unique way that she felt Bob's presence, and it had to do with their Full House co-star John Stamos' wardrobe.

"John was getting ready to leave the house, I guess, and [his wife] Caitlin looked at him and was like, ‘You can’t wear that shirt. That shirt’s not working. It doesn’t look good,’” Jodie said.

“He’s like, ‘Ugh, fine.’ So he goes up to his closet, grabs a black button-up shirt, gets in the car. He’s like ‘Why is this shirt so big? Why is this shirt so big?’"

Jodie explained that the shirt came from an unexpected source.

"He realized it was one of the shirts [Bob's widow] Kelly had given him out of Bob’s closet, and it was this black button-up that Bob would always wear," she revealed.

“It was Bob’s shirt, so Bob was there in this weird little way. I hugged John and then l like, kissed the shirt. I was like, ‘Bob’s here too,'" she said.

Kelly Rizzo, who was married to Bob at the time of his passing, shared a similar sentiment on Instagram.

“What a honor it was to be there and celebrate your love,” Kelly wrote under the comments of Jodie's wedding photos. “I know Bob was right by my side. Love you so much."

What a beautiful sentiment and way for Bob to be involved in this special day.
