Dating is no walk in the park. Between the ghosting and the super bright red flags, it’s rough out here for those trying to find a potential mate.

Dinner dates are particularly tough, mostly because you don’t want to scare your date away with your habits right away. Give it some time, amirite?!

But when a woman decided to order a salad and — gasp — dared to eat all of it, her date had the nerve to call her “unladylike.”

This herbivore woman is 23-year-old Diamond Jackson.

Her sparkle has been left feeling dull after she was rejected by the date she had on August 2. She shared the horror story on the internet, writing that she thought that they had hit it off on their dinner date.

The man even promised to see her again as they both said their goodbyes.

But the probability of that went right out the window when the man texted her later, with the gull to say that their eating habits were “incompatible.”

Um, WTF!? We’ve heard of being incompatible in terms of kids, careers, and finances. But never food.

Diamond explained that she had ordered a small side of Chicken Caesar salad, so she couldn’t understand why he was upset with her eating.

He wrote his concerns in a text message, which Diamond gladly shared online.

"Honestly Diamond. You seem like [an amazing woman] but I don't think we're compatible,” he began. "You ate the whole damn salad which isn't ladylike. [It] makes me feel like you're greedy for food and I need a woman who knows when to stop eating."

"You know I meal prep and go to the gym daily. I just feel like you'd be overweight in the near future," he rudely continued.

He went on to say that he still wants to hang out, but that he "almost exploded" over her eating.

He concluded with this oh, so lovely zinger:  “You [were supposed] to [have] butterflies [and] sh*t. How could you eat that much[?]"

Sorry, but the only pig we see here is him. In a twist of irony, Diamond explained that her date ate a meal that was much larger than what she had.

"I had a grilled chicken Caesar salad and he had some sort of parmesan chicken with grilled asparagus and mashed potatoes,” she wrote.

"He ate the majority of his meal and just left a few pieces of the asparagus,” she added, writing that he also ate the whole bread basket that came before the meal.

Diamond didn't have to justify herself any further, as the internet had her back.

"This is hilarious. What a loser," one wrote. "NOT THE WHOLE SALAD," another joked. A third commenter pointed out the hypocrisy. "Girl what does he expect you to eat? A piece of ice???"

Many consider this her "lucky escape" for a man like that.

"That's not a potential boyfriend, that's a prison warden who wants a cheap date," one wrote. "RUN don't walk away from this guy and leave him in a cloud of dust."

Diamond has done just that.

She explained that she didn't respond to his text message. "I felt like no response is a response. I laughed at it and then I blocked him." You go, girl! Of course, her feelings were hurt, though.

"My feelings were hurt a little bit but it was just like 'whatever' - I didn't really take it to heart because he wasn't the kind of person for me."

"I understand everyone has standards but that was just pure foolishness."

She can celebrate being away from this guy with a HUGE meal.
