I have to tell you something: I'm always confused by people who buy giant statues. My only question is, "why?" What's the purpose of it all? Ha, ha. So when I recently stumbled upon something quite unusual at Home Depot, I knew I had to share it with you.

Not only is the decor object pretty interesting, but people started leaving hilarious reviews about it online. So let's find out what all the hoopla is about, okay?

Check this out.

If you ever wanted to put up a giant crustacean in front of your house, now is your chance. Apparently, Home Depot is selling a 6-foot crab sculpture on its website. Oh my goodness, hee-hee. Can you believe that? And it will only set you back $1539!!! Wow!

This is what it looks like.

Holy moly! Get this — this colossal crustacean is 6 feet wide, 4.3 feet deep, and 15 inches tall. Design Toscano, a garden decor company, designed it exclusively for Home Depot.

Um, why? According to them, it's supposed to transform "Any home, garden, restaurant or hotel into something truly magnificent."

Oh, okay!

The funniest thing about this listing is the reviews and comments people started leaving. They're pretty dang hilarious. So I'm going to share a few of them with you. Something tells me that they will make your day. They sure did that for me.

Perfect for any occasion.

"If you need a good designated driver, a reliable companion/wingman, or a therapist, this right claw man always has your back, and if you ever find yourself stranded on an island, the Colossal Crustacean Grand Scale Giant King Crab is the perfect way for you to signal SOS due to his unbound charisma that extends to God himself."

Ah, ha, ha, ha!

Then there's this emotional response:

"I was feeling really down and decided to take a trip to my local Home Depot in the hopes of turning my frown upside down. I thought all hope was lost until I turned the corner and locked eyes with this beauty. I swear a light beamed down from the sky, and angels sang on high. My life was changed."

I can't stop laughing here.

This honest review.

"What a fantastic way to tell your neighbors you enjoy crab dip as much as they do. This beautiful crustacean was a pleasant addition to my front landscaping. Granted, I needed permission from the city building department for the installation, and he does require some land from my neighbors, still nonetheless worthwhile. Would be an awesome gift for a fellow crab lover too."

The word even spread on Twitter.

When others found out about this giant statue, they took to Twitter to tell people all about it. And there's a slew of hilarious tweets you can read. This is just one of them to get you started, ha, ha.

But wait, there's more.

You won't believe your eyes, but there's also a giant red king crab sculptural chair you can get to accompany your front yard statue. Come again? I don't know about this, lol. I, for one, would feel a little funny sitting on it. I guess, to each their own, eh?

Okay, a moment of truth.

Man saying "I don't know about that."

How do you feel about this? Are you team crab or not? Would you buy this giant crustacean to put up in your yard? Hmm, I don't know about that. Something tells me that if I did that, my neighbors would think I totally lost my mind.

But what about that chair? Is this right up your alley? I think I'll take a pass on that as well.
