Chris Hemsworth's Wife Wasn't A Fan Of His Muscles For 'Thor: Love & Thunder'

When you think of the name Chris Hemsworth, chances are you think of the God of Thunder: Thor. Not only is it the character he has played for years now in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (and in his most recent movie, Thor: Love and Thunder) but he also REALLY looks like the character. Just his bicep is bigger than my head.

And although people all over the world are in awe over his physique, people closer to his heart are not quite loving it.

Chris Hemsworth returned as the God of Thunder Thor, in the most recent installment of the franchise: 'Thor: Love and Thunder'.

For the role, he got the biggest he has ever been so far, which is a noble goal. But not everyone was into his look.

Who wasn't a fan? His wife, Elsa Pataky.

In an interview with USA TODAY, Hemsworth opened up that his muscles were not beloved by his wife, and in fact, he had done it mostly out of boredom.

I don't think I'd ever be that bored.

"My wife was like, 'Bleh, it's too much," he said.

"There are a lot of my male friends who are like, Yeah!' but a lot of female friends and family are like, 'Yuck.'"

I guess people aren't as into muscles as Hollywood would have us believe!

"It came from boredom, sitting in COVID lockdown was like a prison," he said.

"It was train, eat, train, eat. Nothing else to do. Then I turned up for the film bigger than I've ever been."

His training included swimming, weight lifting, and swimming.

But it also came down a lot to his diet.

He had to eat at least 6,000 calories every day in order to get the look that he was striving for.

I don't even know what someone would eat to get o 6,000 calories a day! Either way, we can all agree that Thor definitely got the look he wanted!
