I know the summer has just started, but thanks to the newly released Hocus Pocus 2 trailer, all I can think about is the fall! For me, there is nothing better than cozying up with some fuzzy socks, a big, cozy blanket, and a glass of red wine and enjoying my Halloween comfort movies, most notably, Hocus Pocus.

Now, after almost 30 YEARS, fans are (finally) getting a sequel film — and yes, Sarah Jessica Parker, Bette Middler, and Kathy Najimy are all back.

In this house, we believe that "Hocus Pocus" is one of the best Halloween movies of all time.

The 1993 film has got the perfect amount of comedy, charm, and spook to make for the perfect Halloween viewing experience for kids of all ages.

30 years later and the Sanderson Sisters have cemented themselves as icons in the world of witchcraft and wizardry — just ask the kids on TikTok!

Back in OCTOBER OF 2019, it was confirmed that Sarah Jessica Parker, Bette Middler, and Kathy Najimy were all coming back for the highly anticipated sequel.

SJP confirmed the news on Instagram back then and told fans they would be waiting, and as we know now, the Sex and the City star was not lying about that part.

Fans had another development in March 2020, when acclaimed writer Adam Shankman revealed he would be writing the script.

"Yep.... Thanks with all of my heart dear @disney Looks like Il be working on a looooooottttt of magic for awhile... I feel incredibly honored and humbled to be guiding forward these two Disney crown jewel legacies," he wrote at the time.

"My only hope is to honor those who came before me and build something new and exciting, as I desperately try to not let down the fans and enchant the new initiates!"

Well, judging by the first look trailer which dropped Tuesday morning, I think it's safe to say Adam most definitely did not let the fans down!

"It’s been 29 years since someone lit the Black Flame Candle and resurrected the 17th-century sisters, and they are looking for revenge,” Disney+ said in a statement about the movie, as per "TODAY."

"Now it is up to three high-school students to stop the ravenous witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem before dawn on All Hallow’s Eve," the statement concluded.

Check out the trailer and start your countdown for September 30th right now!
